Calling Micro-Trendsetters! We’re Predicting the Hottest Trends of 2017

Now that we’ve officially bid adieu to 2016 and happily clinked our way into the New Year, it’s time to share the latest and greatest trends coming up in the land of bumps and babies. From nurseries that bring the outdoors inside to the maternity trend we hope stays around forever, here’s what everyone will be talking about in 2017.

Nature Inspired Nurseries

Kale may no longer be trending, but the color green is as popular as ever. Just ask the creative folks at The Pantone Color Institute who chose Greenery as their color of the year for 2017. The zesty yellow-green shade evokes the first days of spring when nature's greens revive, restore and renew.

The gender-neutral color of the year reflects the overall trend toward nature- inspired nurseries and a desire to bring the outdoors inside.The research team at Pinterest dug through their data from 2016 (they have a ton!) to develop emerging trends for 2017 and the look of cozy woodland-themed nurseries made their official Pinterest 100 trend report. Pinterest-worthy nurseries will showcase adorable woodland decor like these sweet prints from Etsy and will make the babies of 2017 crave the crisp outdoors.
