Unless you’ve been vacationing on a blissfully unconnected island, chances are that you’ve at least heard of Crazy Rich AsiansIn the film’s first week-and-a-half alone, it has brought in well over $83 million worldwide. And apparently model mama Chrissy Teigen was one of the many movie-goers who added to the box office total over the weekend.

Teigen posted a series of sweet pics on Instagram over the weekend, chronicling her family’s trip to see Crazy Rich Asians. This included a super-sweet video of daughter Luna and hubby John Legend dancing together in silhouette to the closing credits.

Along with the aww-dorable photos and video, Teigen wrote, “I planned on seeing it, making a few jokes about how it checked all the boxes for me (CRAZY, RICH, ASIAN) but the feeling I got during the credits, watching John dance with my little black asian mashup baby bear luna tunes, was a feeling I haven’t had at the end of any other movies.”

Not only did Teigen note that Luna was “blown away” by the whole going to a movie thing, but she sweetly added that when the tot saw lead actress Constance Wu’s onscreen mother she yelled, “yāy!” (which according to Teigen, means “Grandma” in Thai).

Teigen explained, “because she saw someone who looked like her yāy. Someone beautiful and aspirational. It was something that simple that made my heart just…warm.”
