Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Celebrate Historic EGOT Win in the Best Way

It’s not every day someone wins an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony award—a.k.a., the rare and much-coveted EGOT—so celebrating such an achievement is a must. Over the weekend, Chrissy Teigen shared a video of how they do things in their house after John Legend’s EGOT win at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles––and we’re a little jealous.

With virtually no voice, Teigen finds actor, songwriter and singer hubby in the kitchen after midnight and asks what he’s doing. His answer? “Making EGOT pancakes.”

Legend’s win is special for many reasons, one of which is because he is the first African-American man to win the quadruple EGOT award—and one of the youngest, too. The achievement came after winning 10 Grammys, an Oscar for his song “Glory” from Selma, a Tony for his work on Jitney and finally an Emmy for his work on Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert.

In the video we find the robe-clad couple doing what they do best–– doing life with all kinds of good food that we’ve come to love being a part of, however vicariously through Teigen’s IG posts.

We have only one question left: can we get a copy of the recipe?
