I scream, you scream, we all scream for our greens?! Yes, you read correctly….greens! Now there is a veggie locale your kids will want to try as much as they’ll want ice cream. Celebrity chef José Andrés and his committed Chief of Produce, Bennett Haynes, are launching the Little Sprouts program at Beefsteak restaurant, designed to prove to children that veggies are both delicious and fun.

Andrés, an internationally-recognized culinary innovator, passionate advocate for food and hunger issues, author, educator, television personality and chef/owner of ThinkFoodGroup, is the mastermind behind some of D.C.’s fave restaraunts like Jaleo, Oyamel and Zaytinya. Having fed millions of people in his restaurants over the past two decades, José and his crew are continually discovering how fresh and delicious food can bring people together and make them happy. Fusing that goal with his zeal for veggies, Beefsteak was born!

Through the Little Sprouts program, kids have a special menu: Beefsteak’s JV Bowls & Mini Veggie Sliders. Specifically made for kids 10 and under, your little sprouts can enjoy Beefsteak’s flavor-packed and colorful veggie bowls, fresh juices, and mini beet and beefsteak sliders, where thick cut tomato and pickled beets are sandwiched between toasted brioche with vegan mayo and crunchy sprouts. Kids Eat Free ALL DAY Wednesdays at Beefsteak locations. Got your attention?! Children under 10 can enjoy complimentary JV Bowls with the purchase of a regular bowl.

Beefsteak truly is America’s bounty in a bowl. Meals are
offered in countless combinations and flash-prepared to perfection right in front of you. Choose from farm-fresh veggies, hearty grains, freshly-made sassy sauces, crisp greens, and flavorful toppings from kimchi to sesame seeds to cherry tomatoesNeed something meaty?
