Ready player…four? Google might soon be giving Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony a run for their money. Google’s first gaming console could be a reality—and very soon.
Google just dropped a very cryptic teaser video for what many believe is the first look at a new gaming system. As Forbes explains, the video ends on the date 3-19-19—which also happens to be the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco, California where Google says it will “reveal the future of gaming.”
A representative for Google directed us to check out the link that accompanies the teaser, which leads to a second YouTube video feed set to go live on Mar. 19 at 10 a.m. PT—the same time when Google will deliver its keynote address.
The link below this video also offers a clue as it leads to a webpage where you can sign up to receive gaming news and offers.
Some are guessing that this could be a new streaming-based video gaming service. Others believe it could be the launch of a new game controller. While the teaser video itself is vague, fans only have a short time to speculate what it all means before it’s finally revealed. Stay tuned!
