Launch Math + Science Centers offer exciting and educational one-week STEM summer camps on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for kids from kindergarten to 7th grade.

For the past 15 years, Launch camps have provided young people with an unforgettable learning experience, challenging them to think critically, solve problems creatively, and work collaboratively with their friends. Experienced instructors with a passion for STEM bring their expertise to every activity.

Throughout each week-long themed program, Launch campers have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, including designing and coding animations, conducting experiments in biology and physics, and building and testing aerospace structures, and exploring the latest technology in pocket-sized computers. Combining this first-class curriculum with an unparalleled 4:1 camper-to-staff ratio, Launch’s programs are effectively designed to stimulate children’s intrinsic desire to learn.

In addition to academics, Launch camps offer recreational activities to ensure a well-rounded experience. From outdoor activities in Central Park to indoor game play and active, collaborative projects, campers spend time socializing and building meaningful relationships with friends.

Get ready for a truly transformative experience with iCAMP – our premier STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art/Design Mathematics) program that empowers students to go from technology consumers to creators! Our unique project-based approach is designed to make learning a blast, while building students’ proficiency in the very technologies that are poised to change the world.

Since our launch in mid-2018, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming over 1,000 students between the ages of 3-13 to our STEAM programs. With locations in NYC, the Hamptons, and Westchester, we’re always growing and expanding to better serve our community. Our core value is to create educational programs that children genuinely enjoy, so we hope to see you soon and join us on this exciting journey!

Film Camps for Ages 8-17 @ FACETS

Calling all aspiring directors, actors, animators, and film editors: it’s time to tell your stories.

This summer, FACETS, the home of the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF), is offering 6 film camps for ages 8-17 designed to teach foundational filmmaking skills, story development, acting, animation and more! With a variety of camp options, from the flagship Film 101 camp to the new Introduction to YouTube camp, young creatives of all types can find something fun, educational, and affordable at FACETS Film Camps.

In-person only camps hosted at FACETS (1517 W Fullerton Ave) include:

Film 101: Film Foundations (Ages 8-10 & 11-13) – June
Film 102: Intermediate Filmmaking (Ages 11-13 & 14-17) – June & July

Steve & Kate’s Camp in 13 SF Locations!

When you trust kids, they trust themselves. Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s has put kids in charge of their own learning experience. As they try, fail, and learn on their own, they learn to trust their own judgment, and tackle the challenges of an ever changing world with creativity and confidence.

Campers choose from a variety of activities in real-time including, sewing, stop-motion animation, music, coding, sports & rec, makers crafts, baking, & more. They’ll decide what they want to do, and for how long.

This summer families can buy as many days as they’d like, and use them at any time. No weekly reservations required–just show up! Or, if you need more care, purchase a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. If for any reason your plans change, they’ll automatically refund any unused Passes in full at summer’s end.
