Jennifer Lawrence Confirms Birth of Her 1st Child on ‘Ellen’

And apparently JLaw lives in Ellen's old house!

JLaw is a mom! After a month of speculation, the actress finally confirmed to Ellen that her first child has arrived.

On a new episode of The Ellen Show, the host called up the new mom to say goodbye as her show wraps up its final season. Lawrence, 31, apparently used to pretend Ellen was interviewing her while sitting on the toilet, which the host hilariously references.

“Pretty much any time it was a number two—it was you!” Jennifer Lawrence joked. Amid the discussion of the bathroom, Ellen congratulates Lawrence on her new baby.

Not only that, Ellen reveals a fun fact the two ladies share: Lawrence lives in Ellen’s old home!

“Now I live next door to you, and I’m looking at you living in my house with a brand new baby,” DeGeneres said. “By the way, I do hear you sometimes talking to him, and it’s really cute.”

So apparently, it’s a boy! Having reportedly given birth back in February, this is the first time the public has learned that Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney have welcomed a son.

The baby is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot back in 2019. Both Lawrence and Maroney are fiercely private so we don’t expect tons of photos and news about baby boy anytime soon.
