John Legend Shares IVF Journey Story

Aww! John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the world’s cutest couple. Right? And when they added baby daughter Luna to the equation, they got even cuter (if that’s possible). Even though the celeb couple may seem like they have it all, Legend is opening up about their baby struggles. Check out what the musician had to say about the couple’s IVF journey.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan.com, legend opened up about his and Teigen’s road to conception. Legend told Cosmo, “I think it’s especially difficult when you can’t conceive naturally. You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not.”

Legend went on to add, “I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help.” And yes, the couple did get exactly what they wanted — a beautiful baby girl. But they’re not stopping there. Legend admitted that he hopes IVF will bring them a few more kiddos, giving Luna brothers and sisters.

Hey, conception isn’t always easy. For some of us it doesn’t happen overnight (or in the first month). Legend’s thoughts on his journey with Teigen just shows that everyone struggles and everyone has issues. We’re glad the cute couple was able to triumph in the baby-making process, and we wish them luck in the future!
