It’s So Easy Being Green: 15 Earth Day Celebrations

Here are our favorite ways for little tree-huggers to celebrate Mother Nature in Los Angeles.

Have a little one at home? Enjoy a morning of fun exploring nature with a hands-on program for your toddler. For children ages 1-5. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Little tree-huggers, take note: Earth Day is on Wednesday April 22, and there are loads of LA activities that will educate while you celebrate. From river cleanups to festivals, a party with Fairy Mother Earth and super blooming hikes, here are our 15 favorite ways to hop on the reduce/reuse/recycle (eco-friendly electric) bus.

3Chalk Up Some Green Fun

The whole family can create earth friendly art for all to enjoy. The first 100 families get free chalk-or feel free to bring your own biodegradable chalk. There will also be free trees given away, so be sure to come early. Learn more about this event.
