Back to school is a bittersweet time of year. The kids are getting older and bigger and summer is ending, but also you can say buh-bye to expensive summer camps and extra hot weather. You get back to early bedtimes, but you have to pack lunches again. Well, these inventive LA parents have come up with some big new ideas and products that make the start of the school year sweet and simple.

New Lunchboxes from the Honest Company

The Honest Company has become a billion dollar international company, so it’s easy to forget that founder Jessica Alba is first and foremost an LA mama. While you may think of them as the makers of your favorite safe-for-baby soaps, lotions and diapers, they have just expanded their line this fall with new kid’s backpacks and cute lunchboxes. Honest has collaborated with Brooklyn born one-for-one company, STATE, so for every kid’s backpack sold, Honest and STATE hand deliver one backpack filled with school supplies and products to an American kiddo in need. Plus they’re super cute and the lunchboxes have extra long straps so kids can carry them backpack or messenger style, for hands-free carrying (which means less setting down and losing of lunch boxes!).
