Basically, think about any wild ice cream fantasy you had as a child—it probably looked a lot like this place. Almost every installation has been totally re-imagined for LA, from an interactive banana split exhibit comprised of 10,000 bananas and a mint “grow house” to a melted popsicle jungle and the iconic sprinkle pool filled with one hundred million sprinkles that guests can swim around in. Some of these are showcased among 30 shopable ice cream products you can take home yourself, including custom sprinkles, scoopers, kadima and even a ping pong table!photo: Museum of Ice Cream Hours: The Museum of Ice Cream runs April 22–May 29. Open Wednesday–Monday from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Closed on Tuesdays. Visits are asked to take about 45 minutes to get through everything, so even antsy little ones should be fine.Tickets: Tickets are on sale beginning Monday, April 3. General admission includes two curated ice cream tastings and surprise edible treats.
