It’s Time! Girl Scouts Can Level Up With New Official Apparel Choices

For the first time in 20 years, the Daisies, Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts are getting new official apparel! The wardrobe will pay homage to ’90s style and feature eco-conscious touches—plus the Girl Scout uniforms will be upgraded with recycled materials.

If you’re shopping for your younger Scout, you’ll find a collection of fashionable oversized T-shirts, slim fit pants and fun accessories like scrunchies and headbands. All pair perfectly with the iconic sash or vest and allow girls to show off their style and personality. You can buy items starting in late August through the Girl Scout Shop.

The collection will range in price from $10-$39 and is designed with comfort and durability in mind. It’s color-coordinated by grade level and will offer both casual and formal options. Best of all, it offers inclusive sizing options ranging from XXS to PXXL..

Meanwhile, the updated Girl Scout uniforms will feature the same colors and designs, but be made of a fabric that includes 40% recycled material. The Girl Scouts will also begin an upcycling program to turn old uniforms into new materials, like aprons, pillows and totes. Starting in August you can purchase these items through the Girl Scout Shop and select council stores!

Can’t get enough of Animal Crossing? Neither can UNIQLO!

The stylish retailer is pairing up with the popular Nintendo game to bring the world its new UNIQLO UT collection. Animal Crossings: New Horizons apparel is dropping Jul. 1 and has everything you need to navigate the summer, and developing your own personal island, in true style.

The collaboration will hit UNIQLO stores nationwide and uniqlo.com and includes t-shirts, tote bags and blanket towels. No one has to miss out on the fun, with styles coming in baby, kids and adults and at a price point of $9.90 to $29.90.

Just like the desert island vibes in the video game, the UNIQLO collection is packed with bright colors and quotes from everyone’s fave characters like Tom Nook, Isabelle and K.K. Slider. To make the line even more special Animal Crossing players will be able to visit a UNIQLO store within the game via a Dream Address and get two unique clothing items!

Stitch Crashes Disney is the new continuity series to hit shopDisney, Disney store and Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort. Every third Saturday of each month the monthly collection that features plush and pins will release to fans of the OG film from 2002. Keep scrolling to see the collection so far!

Stitch Crashes Beauty & the Beast

In typical Stitch form, the lovable character will be crashing classic Disney Animated films all throughout the year. First up, Stitch can be found sneaking into Disney’s Beauty and the Beast 30th anniversary with merch that features the film’s iconic roses and stained-glass artwork.

Stitch Crashes Lady and the Tramp

Last month, Stitch went head to head with Beauty and the Beast, and this month, the naughty character is in all sorts of spaghetti trouble. Inspired by the sweet scene we all know from Lady and the Tramp, Stitch ($29) is covered in all things noodles this month.

Stitch is made with satin, has an embroidered foot patch and comes with a "pile" of spaghetti with a meatball on top of his head. For a limited time, you can shop this month's collection of a plush, pin ($25), Magic Band and an assortment of apparel.

Stitch Crashes The Lion King

Stitch is at it again! The mischievous creatures has now crashed The Lion King! This month, you'll find a Stitch plush covered in a tribal pattern with adorable bugs on his head.

Disney recently announced the closure of 60 North American stores this year. Before you start to stress or worry about where you’ll find the latest Disney gear and toys for your kiddo—the beloved brand has plans to focus on and expand its e-commerce business.

If you’ve browsed or bought from the shopDisney platform, you’re already ahead of the game. In the next year, Disney aims to create a more seamless and personalized shopping experience for guests online. Along with shopDisney, the company will focus on and integrate Disney Parks apps and social media platforms.

Of the changes, Stephanie Young, president, Consumer Products Games and Publishing, said in a press release, “While consumer behavior has shifted toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what consumers expect from a retailer.”

Young continued, “Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on meeting consumers where they are already spending their time, such as the expansion of Disney store shop-in-shops around the world. We now plan to create a more flexible, interconnected ecommerce experience that gives consumers easy access to unique, high-quality products across all our franchises.”

The changes will include more than just an expansion of online shopping opportunities. Disney’s plans include an assortment of new merch, including adult apparel collections and artist collabs. Look for premium home products, collectibles, and streetwear coming to shopDisney.

LEGO and adidas are teaming up for yet another completely cool collab. The two iconic brands brought your sneaker-loving, brick-building kiddo the AZX800 shoe in September 2020 and now LEGO and adidas are ready to launch a DOTS and NINJAGO themed line!

The LEGO DOTS and NINJAGO lines feature apparel and footwear inspired by the beloved bricks. Look for plenty of colors and creativity in the fun new for-the-kiddos collab!

According to a press release, the adidas x LEGO DOTS line has, “Playful designs will spark imagination and convey a simple message to children that it’s their world, they make the rules and can make it as vivid as they like.”

The adidas x LEGO NINJAJO collection is equally as awesome as the DOTS line. This collab collection allows kids to harness their elemental NINJAGO powers and “B Ninja.” This means “mastering ninja skills, being a good friend, confident, inclusive and true to oneself.”

The new lines feature windbreakers, T’s, dresses, shorts, tights, socks, hoodies, and (of course) shoes. Find the creative collections online at adidas.com starting Mar. 4—along with plenty of other adidas and LEGO awesomeness.
