It’s a graveyard smash! A monstrous party is coming to your breakfast bowl, courtesy of General Mills. Monster Mash cereal is limited-edition and features pieces from the five Monster Cereals: Count Chocula, Boo Berry, Franken Berry, Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy,

It’s the first time you can find all of these cereals combined and it’s in honor of the 50th anniversary of Count Chocula and Franken Berry, the first two monster products. At the time, the two cereals were the only chocolate and strawberry flavored cereals on the market. The pieces transformed to ghosts in 1985 and the marshmallows have evolved over the years, but the delicious taste has never changed.

To celebrate the cereal release, the five monsters also remade the classic “Monster Mash” song for your listening pleasure. You can also watch Mocumentary, the Monster Mash Documentary, which includes a surprise appearance from Travis Barker. Both are available online now!

Keep an eye out at major retailers to scoop a box (or six) of this special new product. The artwork alone makes it a must-have for cereal collectors!

Pumpkin Spice is everywhere: lattes, candles, cereal, dog treats…noodles? In late October, Cup Noodles is releasing a special pumpkin spice flavor to boldly jump into the autumnal game. The verdict is definitely out on this one!

It’s made with a “special pumpkin seasoning” that infuses the noodles with the familiar flavor. Like all Cup Noodles products, it’s ready with a bit of water and four minutes in the microwave. The brand suggests adding a little whipped cream on top if you’re feeling extra daring.

Cup Noodles also conducted a survey to see how people really feel about pumpkin spice. Not surprisingly the results are mixed! More than 50% of Gen Z respondents said they are obsessed with all things pumpkin spice. Meanwhile, 65% of non-Gen Z respondents (defined as 25 and up) said they hate the flavor. Fortunately, Gen Z is probably the target audience for this product!

If you decide to try it, you’ll be able to find Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice exclusively at Walmart. Visit nissinfoods.com to locate the product when it drops later this fall!

The Best New Store-Bought Snacks You Haven’t Tried Yet

Ready for it? Milk Bar just announced a new line of ice cream pints and they’re headed to a grocery store near you!

Four flavors from the iconic bakery drop soon: Birthday Cake, Cereal Milk, Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow and Milk Bar Pie. It’s the first time that Milk Bar will offer ice cream beyond their signature bakeries.

The birthday cake ice cream is flavored with the sweet treat, plus birthday crumbs and frosting(!). The Cereal Milk is a tribute to the original flavor craze with a cornflake crunch. Cornflake chocolate chip marshmallow riffs on the best-selling cookie with cornflake crunch, marshmallow swirls and chocolate chunks. And Milk Bar Pie brings the bakery’s signature pie into ice cream form: vanilla ice cream swirled with gooey butter cake.

“I have dreamed about bringing Milk Bar to the freezer section (the holy grail of the supermarket in my opinion) for nearly a decade. I knew coming in now, we’d need to do more than bend pieces of our finished treats into an ice cream pint. So we toiled and tinkered, taking our favorite flavor profiles and imagining them through ice cream bases, swirls, gobs, fudges, frostings, crumbs and crunches to create our proudest on-shelf creation yet,” said Christina Tosi, Chef and Founder of Milk Bar.

You’ll be able to grab a pint or four starting Jun. 1 at Whole Foods Markets, then at additional retailers and online later in the summer. Last year the brand entered the grocery space with soft-baked cookies, followed by truffle crumb cakes. Each pint will be $5.99 and maybe/probably the best part of your entire week.

Jet-Puffed New Marshmallows Are the Perfect Summer Snack

Celebrate National English Muffin Day with a Sweet Cinnamon Bun Flavor

I’ve resolved to get organized and develop better habits for 2019. I woke at 5 a.m., according to my new regimen, where I can catch a little “me time” and plan my day.

My son—who normally wakes at 7:30 a.m.—has started to jump on the “early riser” bandwagon. Upstairs I go to get him at 5:30. I try, hopelessly to put him back to sleep. Defeat? No. I will just set him up for breakfast and I’ll tune him out for a moment while I start planning.

Okay. Grocery store. A little miscellaneous shopping, perhaps for a blind for the kitchen—man the one we have is driving me nuts.

Here comes kid number two. Wait for it. Yes. there’s the complaint about the food selection in the cupboards. No Goldfish? No cookies? If I had a nickel for every time they said that, I’d be rich. Maybe if they want Goldfish for their lunches everyday, they wouldn’t put half the dang bag in their lunch on the first day of the week.

Grocery. How many times have I been to the grocery this week? Saturday for a quick run. Sunday for a school shop. It’s now Wednesday. But I did send my husband last night as well. This is out of control!

Oh dear. My son is making quite a mess with his cereal. Okay, he dumped it all out. Where did all my tea towels go? Okay. I’m going to pick some up today. And also a list so I stop forgetting what to get while I’m at the store.

Kids are fine. They ate something. They packed their lunches and are off to school. Now I’ll load my son in the car and run errands.

Dang I really should have written a list. Dollar store. Grocery store. Got it. As I pull up to the dollar store, I realize my son’s diaper is full. Where is the stash I usually keep in the car? Oh dear. Guess I’m going to have to make this a quick run.

I reach the dollar store and I manage to pick up a list. I browse a little more. What else did I need here? Tin foil! Got it.

Off to the grocery. Cheese. Fruit. Goldfish. Pancake mix. Check, check, check. Son is still okay in his diaper. Let’s get home before this becomes a problem.

I pull in the driveway and see a note on the door. It’s Purolator. I’ve forgotten I was to accept a package today. It’s a temperature sensitive delivery. Oh great. I change my son’s diaper and get in the car with the delivery notice. I wonder if the delivery person has dropped our package off at the main office yet. Dang, I really should have checked the pickup time before I left.

I arrive. The delivery person hasn’t delivered the package to the main office yet.  Oh well. At least I got to talk to a real person and not an answering service.

I pull in the driveway, again. This time my husband is waiting for me. “Did you forget we needed to switch cars this afternoon?”

“No,” I reply as the memory of this previous conversation rushes to my mind. I don’t usually lie but I needed to recoup some dignity from my forgetfulness.

I bring in the groceries and my extra bags. Ah, the tea towels. Where’d I put that list?
