Bold New Choices Are Brewing at Dunkin’

Heading into the new year, people could use a little extra encouragement, extra energy and extra excitement. Dunkin’ is taking charge, brewing the extra boost everyone needs to tackle 2021 and get things done. Dunkin’ today announced the addition of Extra Charged Coffee to its menu, packing 20% more caffeine than Dunkin’s classic Hot and Iced Coffee, while delivering the same great taste.

Dunkin’ is also introducing two bold new hot coffees, Dunkin’ Midnight and Explorer Batch, to kick off the year.

Dunkin’ Midnight: New Dunkin’ Midnight is the brand’s darkest roast ever, featuring a rich, smooth, full-bodied flavor, rounded out with notes of decadent cocoa and an intensely dark finish. Dunkin’ Midnight joins the beloved Original Blend and Dunkin’ Decaf as a permanent addition to the brand’s coffee lineup.

Explorer Batch: The first coffee blend to be introduced as part of Dunkin’s new Limited Batch Series, Explorer Batch is a medium roast featuring dark berry notes, rounded out with a smoky finish. To craft its unique Explorer Batch, Dunkin’ sourced beans from four highly regarded coffee regions, including Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Sumatra. Explorer Batch will be available for a limited time, with new Limited Batch Series coffees to be introduced throughout the year.

Available at participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide beginning Dec. 30, Extra Charged Coffee, served hot or iced, features green coffee extract that gives coffee drinkers an extra boost with 20% more caffeine. For an extra incentive to try the brand’s buzziest new beverage, Dunkin’ will be offering Medium Extra Charged Coffee for $2 through Jan. 26.

In a new year filled with new brews, coffee lovers can find the perfect Dunkin’ drink to match their mood, and perhaps, a little something extra. From Dec. 30 through Jan. 31, the My Dunkin’ Mood Quiz will ask questions that help gauge guests’ vibes, and then recommend one of the brand’s coffee beverages that can best fuel them through the day. Everyone who participates can enter to win one of five amazing prizes, including Dunkin’ coffee for a year, $5,000 in cash, and more.

Dunkin’ will continue to surprise fans with a little something extra throughout the month of January, so they should stay tuned for updates on the Dunkin’ App and the brand’s social channels.

To bring a little sweetness to help ring in the New Year, Dunkin’ has a fun new donut to pair with its new coffee options. The new Dunkfetti Donut features a cake donut ring with special celebration confetti sprinkles baked within, and topped with a sweet glaze. Yabba Dabba Doo! Inspired by The Flintstones, PEBBLES cereal became the first brand created around a media character when it was launched in 1971. Now in honor of it’s 50th birthday, PEBBLES cereal will surprise fans by giving them presents throughout 2021.

“Fruity and Cocoa PEBBLES cereals have been bringing kids and kids-at-heart fun and happiness for 50 years. At a time when joy and inspiration are needed more than ever, we wanted to do something to thank and surprise PEBBLES fans next year in honor of the brand’s milestone birthday,” said Amy Brothers, PEBBLES Cereal Brand Manager at Post Consumer Brands. “This brand has always been about igniting creativity, so we hope our fans will join us and get inspired as we Yabba Dabba Doo! 2021!”

For the first surprise of the year PEBBLES is going to help make 50 kids’ birthdays even more epic in 2021 by giving their parents $2,021 each to help them celebrate their big day.

Launching today on the brand’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages and running through Feb. 1, 2021, parents are invited to share why their kid deserves a special birthday present for the chance to win one of 50 cash prizes. Whether it’s an outdoor play set, a trampoline, a new computer or video game system, paying for music lessons or saving for college, PEBBLES wants to make birthday celebrations special next year. Winners will also receive a birthday package from PEBBLES to celebrate their big day.

PEBBLES cereal is hosting a New Year’s Eve countdown on Dec. 31 featuring Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble from Bedrock leading into the 9 p.m. ET hour during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021, which airs live beginning at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The family-friendly countdown will also be available on demand on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages and on PEBBLES cereals’ Facebook page so families can view it at their convenience to celebrate an early countdown before bedtime.

Leading up to and on New Year’s Eve, PEBBLES’ fans can create their own celebration video using the Fruity PEBBLES confetti branded effect on TikTok to welcome in 2021 in colorful style. Fans can find the Fruity PEBBLES confetti by searching for “PEBBLES confetti” directly through the search bar on the discover page within the TikTok platform, beginning Dec. 28.

This Is the Most Bomb Dessert from ALDI This Holiday Season

Instagram-worthy seasonal desserts are taking over our social media feeds. This year hot cocoa bombs have gained popularity among lovers of festive treats. Now you can make your own with easy-to-follow steps thanks to ALDI Test Kitchen.

If you are feeling extra festive you can drop the bombs into a cup of ALDI-exclusive O’Donnell’s Irish Cream for the ultimate holiday taste bud explosion.

ALDI Hot Cocoa Bombs

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes (plus 25 minutes to chill and set)
Total Time: 20 minutes (plus 25 to chill and set)
Servings: 4

Ingredients:

1 package Moser Roth Dark Collection 70% Cocoa Chocolate Bar, finely chopped
1/2 cup Baker’s Corner Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 package Beaumont Cocoa Hot Cocoa Mix
Spangler Candy Canes, crushed
Baker’s Corner Miniature Marshmallows

Directions:

Prepare a double boiler over medium-low heat. Meanwhile, combine chopped chocolates and morsels in a small bowl.
Add half of the chocolate to the double boiler. Monitor temperature using a candy thermometer or other food safe thermometer. Do not allow chocolate to rise about 120° F at any point.
Once chocolate is melted and at 110-115°, remove from heat. In small batches, incorporate remaining chocolate. Be sure to melt what you’ve added prior to adding more.
Continue to monitor temperature and stir until temperature reaches 82°. Transfer back to the double boiler and bring to 91°.
At 91° remove from heat, add 2 tablespoons of chocolate to each half of the 3-inch silicone sphere molds. Tilt mold in all directions to properly coat the entire bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes. Reserve remaining chocolate.
The chocolate should have begun to set at this point. Use the back of a spoon to smooth out the inside of the half sphere. Chill for 20 minutes.
Peel molds away to release chocolate. Set aside.
Warm a small sauté pan over low heat. Lightly press one half sphere, open side down, on the sauté pan to even. Place back in mold.
Fill with 1/2 packet cocoa mix, and preferred amount of crushed candy cane and marshmallows.
Repeat step 8, instead pressing the halves together. Allow 5 minutes to set.
Bring remaining chocolate to 88°, drizzle over sealed bombs and decorate with remaining candy canes pieces.

This holiday season is going to look different from years past. Yankee Candle is spreading the holiday magic by giving families a sneak peek into Santa Claus’ workshop via The Official Santa Cam. They are also offering a series of backgrounds for those virtually celebrating the holidays with loved ones.

Yankee Candle sent a magical candle to Santa Claus. This candle has a special power to connect everyone around the world to Santa Claus’ private office. This one candle will make you believe in the magic of Santa.

Families will have the opportunity to check-in on Santa by logging into TheOfficialSantaCam.com. Access to Santa’s virtual office is available this holiday season, around the clock, now through Dec. 24, when Mr. Claus heads out for work. The virtual Santa Cam will feature Santa’s routine at the North Pole including:

Santa will start his morning with a cup of cocoa and read through the North Pole News. As the day continues, Santa will look through his schedule, write at his desk, build toys, read letters, eat cookies, take naps and watch as Mrs. Claus delivers sweets.
During the prime hours of 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Santa will partake in extra activities including learning a TikTok dance, sketching a picture of Rudolph, painting toys, taking a Zoom call, among others.

The Elf on the Shelf Welcomes Brad Paisley For Holiday Fun This Year
