A recent study from best-selling author Emma Johnson found a unique pro to single moms who have a 50/50 schedule with their co-parent: they are more likely to earn more money!

Johnson conducted the Single Mom Income and Time-Sharing Survey with 2,279 single moms to discover if there is a correlation between parental time sharing, income and better overall wellbeing. Released on Jan. 11, the study demonstrated a strong relationship between income and a single mother’s parenting time.

Johnson found that mothers with a 50/50 parenting schedules are 54 percent more likely to earn at least $100,000 annually, compared to mothers who have their children with them most of the time. More so, those with a 50/50 schedule are more than three times as likely to earn more than $100,000 than a single mom with 100 percent of time responsibility.

As far as well being, the survey also found that the 50/50 schedule helped 34 percent more moms to feel “awesome and proud,” compared with moms who are 100 percent responsible for their kids.

Are your kids obsessed with YouTube? Since 2015, With so many children logging on each day, the demand is high for fresh and exciting content. Frugal living blog Top Dollar researched every country’s most popular kids channels to help your little one find a safe new channel to enjoy.

YouTube Study
As well as mapping the top channels, the team also found the top earning child YouTubers.

YouTube Study

In order to find out the most popular YouTuber in each country, the Top Dollar team used statistical websites Social Blade and Vidooly to find out which YouTuber has the most subscribers. To calculate each channel’s earnings, researchers then used Banner Tag to find the average daily views for each channel and estimated how much it was earning using a site called Noxinfluencer, which estimates earnings based on views and subscribers.

To find the top beauty, gaming and kids channels, the team studied the most subscribed channels, read ‘About’ pages and watched the videos to see if they fit into these categories. It proved difficult deciding what channels would fit the ‘influencer’ category for some countries, especially those with obscure content. In these cases, if it looked like it was an individual making the videos, they counted them as a YouTuber. For some countries, the team were not able to find any reliable channels. For others, they couldn’t find the CPM rate. In many cases, a channel claimed to be from one country when it was obvious from their videos that they lived elsewhere. Any channels that did this were not included.

Dunkin announced that they will be permanently closing about 800 of its stores by the end of this year. This number includes the 450 store closures inside of Speedway gas stations announced earlier this month.

.The latest announcement was made in Dunkin’s second quarter earning results. The decision is said to be made with the “goal of setting the U.S. system up for continued strong, profitable future growth. The planned closures represent nearly eight percent of Dunkin’s total restaurants.

It was not immediately clear when these closures would take place.

“For Dunkin’ U.S., same store sales improved sequentially throughout the quarter, largely as a result of our ability to pivot quickly and introduce new menu items designed to appeal to customers who are now visiting us later in the day,” said Dave Hoffmann, Chief Executive Officer, Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc.

According to the report, sales have dropped 18.7 percent over the past quarter due to decreased traffic during the pandemic. Around 96 percent of Dunkin’s U.S. locations were open as of Jul. 25, and the majority that remained closed were located in places such as college campuses and transportation hubs.

Hoffmann said, “We are extremely proud of our great franchisees who kept the vast majority of our restaurants open during the quarter and really stepped up with a sense of urgency and grit to keep their team members employed, our guests served, and their communities running.”
