Krispy Kreme Wants to Let It Snow with New Holiday Donuts

As soon as the leftovers are put away after Thanksgiving dinner, it’s all hands on deck for holiday sweets. Krispy Kreme is ready for the challenge.

The donut maker just revealed this year’s “Let It Snow” collection which drops in stores Fri. Nov. 26. Perfect for grabbing on the way to some major holiday shopping, the limited edition lineup features three new donuts and a comeback of two classics.

What donuts can you sink your teeth into this year? Say hello to the new Poppy Penguin Doughnut (filled with Original Kreme and covered in icing, blue sanding sugar, Kreme and a fondant penguin), the Snowman Smile Doughnut (Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in white icing with a snowman, icing and a fondant piece) and the Snowy Sprinkle Doughnut ( an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in blue icing and topped with a snowflake sprinkle blend).

When it comes to returning donuts, you’ll be happy to see the Santa Belly Doughnut and Chocolate Iced with Holiday Sprinkles Doughnut rejoining the menu.

Black Friday also means you get grab a free Original Glazed doughnut and free small brewed coffee at Krispy Kreme shops and drive-thrus. And don’t forget to mark you calendar for 12/12, Krispy Kreme’s “Day of the Dozens” where you can get an Original Glazed dozen for just $1 with the purchase of any dozen.

Hot Dog Flavored Turkeys Are Here to Win(?) Thanksgiving

Ready for the ultimate Turkey Dog? It’s not a hot dog made with turkey, it’s a turkey with hot dog flavors! If you’re undoubtedly curious, we have the scoop on the recipes below.

Why settle for the same old boring turkey on Thanksgiving when your bird could turn into a dog? Reynolds Wrap has come up with three new styles of turkey that are inspired by hot dog styles and toppings. And yes, they involve ketchup, mustard, pickles and chili cheese:

The Chicago-Style Turkey Dog is rubbed with celery salt and ground mustard, then glazed in yellow mustard. The finished masterpiece is served over pickle spears, chopped onions, sport peppers and tomato slices.
The New York-Style Turkey Dog has a zesty onion powder rub and a bright-red ketchup glaze. It’s topped with sauerkraut, homemade onion sauce and spicy brown mustard.
The Chili Cheese Turkey Dog doesn’t have actual chili on it, but it’s coated in a chili powder rub. Once out of the oven, it’s topped with shredded cheese, onions and sliced jalapenos.

You can get the full instructions online as you prep for Turkey Day next week. Your kids will likely be excited at the prospect of a hot dog-flavored turkey, but it’s certainly unconventional. The Turkey Cake from Baskin Robbins Is Back & Delicious As Ever

It isn’t Thanksgiving without some turkey! While we all enjoy a lovely, juicy bird at the dinner table, Baskin Robbins wants to mix things up.

The Turkey Cake has returned for all your imposter tricks. Made with the ice cream of your choice then topped with two sugar cone legs and a caramel praline topping glaze, this cake will give your actual turkey a run for its money.

If you’re looking for a more manageable dessert with no carving required, you’ll want to grab a cone of Baskin Robbins’ newest flavor, Snickerdoodle Chai. This seasonal flavor is made of a combination of snickerdoodle dough chunks, vanilla chai flavored ice cream and a cinnamon swirl.

Both treats will be offered at Baskin-Robbins locations throughout the month of November, while supplies last. Want a sweet deal? Baskin-Robbins is offering $5 off any cake purchase of $35 or more through November 25 and a free kids scoop starting on Thanksgiving Day through November 30 with a purchase of $15 or more.

Your donuts just got spooky, courtesy of Krispy Kreme! Halloween fans are in for a treat starting today with three seductive sweets to choose from.

“Krispy Screme” offerings include the Bewitched Broomstick, a cream filled donut that features gold stars and a pretzel broomstick. Abra Cat Dabra is an original glazed donut that looks like the classic black cat, including sugar fondant eyes. And Enchanted Cauldron is a chocolate cake donut with green swirled creme plus sprinkles.

If you can’t choose just one, you can buy a “Saturday Scary Sharies” dozen packaged in a special edition spellbook dozen box, while supplies last. This offer is available on Oct. 16, 23 and 30 and includes a $1 dozen to share with your fellow donut lovers.

Finally, Krispy Kreme has another free donut promo in the works. On Halloween, visit a shop in your costume and get a donut with no purchase necessary. ‘Tis the season for screams and kreme!

Krispy Kreme is on a roll! Today the beloved chain launched its first-ever cinnamon rolls to make your breakfast run even sweeter. And yes, there’s one topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

For a limited time you can buy the Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll or the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Roll, topped with your fave childhood cereal and finished with a cereal milk icing swirl. Don’t mind us as we drool all over our screens.

Instead of the traditional frosting, Krispy Kreme opted to use its iconic donut glaze for the rolls. They’re hand-rolled and feature a yeast-raised dough, because the best baked goods always take time. Grab them individually or in a special four pack, in shops and online at participating locations.

Unfortunately for cinnamon roll fans, these babies are only around until October 10. Grab one this week and enjoy it with Krispy Kreme’s fall drinks!

There’s one catch: you can only get each donut for one week only! Pumpkin Spice will be available September 6-12. Choose from Original Glazed, Original Filled with cheesecake, or the classic old fashioned Spice Cake donut.

Up next, Apple Cider for September 13-19. You can get an apple cider donut covered in a new Apple Cider glaze, an Original Filled with brown sugar cream, or an old-fashioned cake donut.

Finally, Maple Glazed has entered the chat for September 20-26. You’ll be able to buy a Maple Glazed donut, Original Filled with maple cream, or a Maple Glazed butter cake donut. Pardon us while we drool all over our keyboard.

Should we rename ALDI to FALLDI? The beloved retailer just announced a bevy of new fall products to search for in September. We’re particularly stoked for the pumpkin cheesecake drizzled caramel corn!

The first offerings hit shelves on September 8 and as always, they’re reasonably priced. You can snag Benton’s Pumpkin Spice Sandwich Cremes for $1.99 or the aforementioned caramel corn for $2.99. If you want to mix up your fall flavors, grab Clancy’s new Caramel Apple Pretzels for $1.99. Plus you can find fall spirit in the beverage aisle with Nature’s Nectar Sparkling Cider, $3.99 for a four pack.

Staying in the land of drinks a little longer, on September 10 you can find two more delicious products. Barissimo Pumpkin or Maple Ground Coffee launches at $3.79 per package. And if you need something a little stronger, State of Brewing will have a pumpkin cider (!) available for $7.99.
