Learn All About Mr. Disney – San Francisco, Ca

At first glance, The Walt Disney Family Museum may sound like it’s made for the kids, but Disneyland this is not. This is a fascinating history of Walt Disney, from the bad luck he turned into the creation of Mickey Mouse to his technological innovations with animation. Throughout all his achievements (like his displayed Academy Award for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), family always came first. Youth programs offer students over eight experiences with animation technology. Culture bonus: the Museum is nestled into the gorgeous Presidio of San Francisco, so it’s easy to also check out Baker Beach, the Golden Gate Bridge, or Crissy Field while you’re in the neighborhood.
