Parents of infants need to check their baby’s booties. The Massachusetts-based company Zutano Global, Inc. is recalling 38,000 Infant Cozie booties after receiving reports that the rubber grippers on the bottom are detachable and possess a potential choking hazard. The recall affects the fleece Cozie booties with rubber grippers in the shape of “Z” on the bottom. The booties were only available in sizes 12 months and 18 months and sold nationwide between May 2016, and March 2017. The company is urging that anyone in possession of the booties return them for a refund.
