Skittles Just Released New Flavors for Valentine’s Day That You’re Going to Love

Just as you start to miss those candy canes and gingerbread cookies, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner to help satisfy that sweet tooth. The store shelves are already packed with hearts and Cupids so why not dig in? The first place you’ll want to start is with these tasty new flavors from Skittles made just for the holiday of love.

Skittles has just released a limited edition Love Mix that features five flavors, including two new ones. In addition to watermelon, strawberry and cherry the special Valentine’s-themed mix includes white grape, which is about as close as you’ll get to a wine-flavored Skittle. Think Pinot Grigio in a hard candy shell.

The second new flavor is yumberry and despite sounding like something made up by Willy Wonka, it is actually based on a real berry also known as a red bayberry. According to the SF Gate, it is a subtropical fruit native to Asian countries that’s slightly acidic and rich in antioxidants. While these new Skittles flavors certainly don’t have any health benefits, they will definitely put a smile on your face (or your sweetheart’s) as you gobble them up.

So where can you score these new Skittles? According to Candy Hunting, who broke the news of this find on Instagram, the pink bags can be currently found at Target. Or you can actually buy a bag online, so you can have it delivered and keep it all to yourself. Don’t wait too long though, as this special edition probably won’t stick around on the shelves after Valentine’s Day.
