Good thing it’s so easy to babywear and there are many local businesses that cater to parents who want to tote baby in a carrier. (Check out Sakura Bloom and Baby Tula!) Opt to wear your tiny sidekick for convenience and ease of mobility (no need to navigate a clunky stroller!) and to keep close to bond at heart and eye levels. Read on to see where to put baby on board and hit the town.

Wearing baby at the Flower Fields in Carlsbad means no navigating your stroller through the beautiful blossoms. Use the occasion for a photo op to forever capture the memory of the time you and your little ‘bud’ stopped to smell the ranunculus. Note: Since the Flower Fields are only open seasonally Mar.-May, you can wear your baby year round at San Diego Botanic Garden or Myrtle Creek Botanical Gardens & Nursery for more bonding among blossoms and nature.

Teach tiny tots the value of buying local by keeping them close at our fave farmer’s markets. This is a great time to introduce the look of different fruits and veggies (before they’re pureed!) to your bambino and to say or sign the name of each piece of produce to encourage language development.
