Royal Entertainers

Red Tricycle: Your community recently voted you “Most Delightful Birthday Entertainer” – what do your customers value most about your business?
Royal Entertainers: Royal Entertainers goes above and beyond for our customers. We’ve sent Jasmine into a party on a camel, we’ve given the ice queen snow for the kids and Rapunzel has entered singing from a balcony. We always find a way to accommodate our customers and go the extra mile! When it comes to costuming and casting performers, we have the best of the best and the attention to detail creates a magical experience for our customers. Our goal is to leave parents wondering “was she a real princess…?”

RT: What do you want people to know about your business that they don’t already know?
RE: We don’t just do kids parties- we host characters for corporate and public events all over the nation! We have stilt walkers, dancers, gymnasts, sphere dancers, mermaids and more! We are a family run business and are involved in every element of our business- we hand pick fabrics for costumes, answer all of our phone calls, personally respond to emails and do one on one training with every performer we work with. This close involvement as an owner is what keeps us on top of our trade!

RT: How did your business get started and what was the motivation?
RE: Royal Entertainers was started by a single mom, with a dream to create the first high-quality, kids entertainment company of its kind in Southern California. RE started with 2 performers in 2010 and grew to 30 performers all around the nation within 5 years. We remember our first product photoshoot, in our living room, with a photographer on one side, and a seamstress on the other finishing costumes with just enough time to fit them onto our princess models who had been recruited to join just a few days prior. It was chaos, but when we launched, we knew we had created something magical that hadn’t been done before.

RT: Tell us, what do you start your morning with: 1. coffee 2. tea 3. mimosa 4. water 5. all of the above.
RE: I start my morning with Water! I’m not a breakfast person, so its usually water until around 11am and then I head over to Liberty Market near our Liberty Station office, and I grab brunch from one of the awesome food vendors there.

RT: What is the most awesome thing a customer has ever done for you?
RE: We have the best support team- our customers! Petco Park and the Padres are one of our favorite customers to work with. When Taylor Swift was in town they let us watch the sold-out concert from the press box at Petco Park. It was an amazing night. But I have to say, the sweetest things come from our little customers- letters, drawings and sweet notes from little hands are the most precious gifts we receive. We are overwhelmed by our loyal following and so grateful!

RT: How do you keep your stress levels down?
RE: Owning a business is crazy- I am up at 1am right now answering these questions because there was no time during my work day to do it. I keep stress levels down by going into my office in Liberty Station, playing music and letting it be my happy place. After all, I truly love our business, no matter how crazy it gets. Our performers are hilarious and so passionate about what they do. One visit to the office from them, and I remember why it is all worth it- allowing these wonderful talented people to perform for kids and do what they love is worth all the stress!

RT: What’s your secret superhero power as a business owner?
RE: Problem solving in my superpower! As we grow our business, I have become a professional problem solver- where there is a will, there is a way and we can make anything happen!

RT: Tell us, what is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received (as a parent or business owner)?
RE: It takes a village to raise a child… and a business. I cant do it alone and our team of performers, costume designers, Wig Stylists, Graphic Designer, etc is what makes us successful. We all rely on each other to make the magic happen.

RT: How about the worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?
RE: Have a piece of chocolate, its just one..

RT: Is there a special offer you’d like to include for Red Tricycle readers?
RE: $20 OFF any character package at
