How much time is your child spending on the screen? Hmm. Chances are it’s more than you’d like. But, breaking that screen habit isn’t exactly easy. You set rules, and may even try to enforce them. And the kids still won’t put down their smartphones and tablets. Well, Verizon has an app for that. Take a look at the FamilyBase app and what it can do for your child.

What do you want to do when your child is online? Most likely you want to set time and data limits. And that’s what this app lets you do. It also helps you to block inappropriate content through denying access to some apps and websites.

We’re not saying that you spy on your kid or anything like that. But just in case you want to police what he or she is doing on their phone or other devices, FamilyBase also lets you view your child’s call and text history.

Oh, and you don’t have to worry about only getting the goods on your child’s screen time use at home. This app helps provide protections using both Wi-Fi and data.

Verizon’s kind of genius, and totally helpful, app is available for both Android and iOS devices. You can download it on either the App Store or Google play.
