House Swapping

My cousin and her husband love house swapping, and their home always comes back to them in good repair. This summer, we think we might try it. Here’s how it works: You become a member of a site like Digsville or Home Exchange; you post a listing of your own house (including a description) and, if you’d like, photos. And then you search for listings in cities where you’d like to vacation. Site memberships often cost between $50 and $150, but lodging-wise, that may end up being your total cost.
