There’s nothing quite like the imaginative mind of a four-year-old to bring a story to life in pictures. One dad decided to share that awesome artwork with the world and animated his son’s dinosaur drawings into a short film.
Using his son’s drawings and story, dad Allen Mezquida, created an adorable animated short film that every dinosaur fan will want to see. As Mezquida explains in his post on Vimeo, he was so inspired by his son’s drawings that he suggested putting them together to create a movie. “Nathan spends hours drawing every day, mostly dinosaurs. He also loves watching BBC documentaries about dinosaurs. Next thing I knew, we were working on this short film together,” he wrote.

Not only are the drawings colorful and detailed, but so is the commentary from Nathan that doesn’t hold anything back about the fatal fate of the dinosaurs. Mezquida explains that Nathan wanted it to be very real and it definitely gives you an authentic look into the mind of a four-year-old.
