April is National Autism Awareness month so it’s the perfect time for the release of the Zappos and PBS Kids’ new adaptive clothing line, made specifically to meet the sensory needs of children on the autism spectrum.

Adding to its unique line that already includes easy-on and easy-off shoes and clothing, Zappos Adaptive has partnered with PBS Kids on a gender-neutral and two-way reversible line that encourages independence with super kid-friendly designs. The PBS Adaptive Apparel Collection is made from soft, machine washable cotton and has no buttons. All items also come with dissolvable tags and can be worn backward or forwards.

The new exclusive collection can be found at and is manufactured by 4WARDClothing, a seasoned maker of clothing for adults and children with mobility or sensory issues and only available on Zappos. Currently the line comes in four themes with PBS branded graphics: air travel, oceans, rainforest and dinosaurs.

The clothing line is offered in bright greens and blues, in sizes from 18 months to 6x range in price from $26 to $32 each.
