If you’ve got a kernel of an idea for the next great YA novel, then you might want to hop on a plane headed for Scotland. A pub in Edinburgh has just renamed itself in honor of J.K. Rowling and if you’re lucky, some of that magical inspiration the Harry Potter author found in the city might rub off on you. At the very least, you can enjoy a pint while you daydream.

This week, The Conan Doyle pub renamed itself The J.K. Rowling. The change is just temporary, however. It’s all part of a city-wide literary event that showcases spots in Edinburgh that have inspired writers and their great literary works. J.K. Rowling lived in Edinburgh when she began writing the novel that would become one of the biggest literary sensations of all time.

Fans can download the Message Through the Skies app and listen to stories about Edinburgh’s literary inspirations and the Scottish authors behind popular books as they tour the city. The event runs through the end of January.
