Doesn’t it seem like you’re always buying clothes for your kids? Before every new season and after every growth spurt, you think, “Here we go again.” But what if you could shop from home and help those in need at the same time? Here are six kids clothing websites that let you do just that—it’s an amazing way to teach your little ones about the importance of giving back. For every item you buy, the company will donate to charity or give the same item you buy to a child in need. Spending money has never felt so good.

Out of Print

What They Do
Out of Print clothing has gotten a lot of press because of its adult T-shirts that feature out-of-print book covers, like The Great Gatsby and Lolita. But the company also carries hip kid T-shirts, with images from our favorite children’s books, like Frog and Toad Are Friends and Harry the Dirty Dog. These literary T-shirts feel soft and worn, just like a well-read book.

How They Give Back
Not only does Out of Print celebrate fashion and book art, but the company also champions the gift of reading. Many people in the world don’t have access to books, and Out of Print wants to change that. For each product sold, one book is donated to a community in need through its partnership with Books for Africa, which collects and distribute books to students in that continent. Its goal is “to end the book famine in Africa.” Through Books For Africa, Out of Print has given away more than 500,000 books. After you and the kids pick out your favorite T-shirts (and donate books in the process), curl up on the couch together and have your own special story time.

What’s your experience with online clothing sites that give back?
