After Sunday’s World Championships, Simone Biles just became the most decorated gymnast in history—and her parents have a completely cute mid-competition ritual that will melt your heart.

When Biles won her 24th (and then 25th!) career medal at Stuttgart, Germany World Gymnastics Championships she did more than earn gold. The Olympian broke Vitaly Scherbo’s 23-medal 1996 record and earned herself a place in history.

Along with pretty much most of the world, the 22-year-old’s parents sat on the edges of their seats watching the world champ—but that’s not all. Ron and Nellie Biles, Simone’s biological grandparents who adopted her and younger sister Adria, reportedly shared a kiss after the gymnast sticks a routine.

The sweet smooch has become a tradition during the gymnast’s events and, judging by Biles’ new world record, means there’s plenty of love in the air!

Early last year the announcement that The Animaniacs is getting a reboot made every ’90s kid jump for joy. Now there’s even more good news––the entire cast is returning for the new show!

Unlike the parade of reboots from your childhood, an animated series has the benefit of relying only on voices and not faces to bring the beloved characters back to life. Despite a more than 20 year gap since the original Animaniacs left the air, the cast is ready to jump back into action and voice this zany crew of siblings once again.

The cast members themselves broke the exciting news on Twitter, sharing that Rob Paulsen (the voice of Yakko), Tress MacNeille (Dot) and Jess Harnell (Wakko) would all be returning for the new reboot.

“We cannot wait to work with Steven Spielberg and the entire Amblin and Warner Bros. teams to bring more sketches, catchphrases, songs and laughs from the Animaniacs to kids and adults everywhere,” said Craig Erwich, senior VP of content at Hulu. “Now one of the most beloved, inventive and funny animated franchises in history, Animaniacs and its cast of witty characters can live on, on Hulu. This marks yet another big move for us as we continue our efforts to be the No. 1 streaming destination for premium animated content.”

The new Animaniacs series will feature at least two seasons and be available exclusively on Hulu sometime in 2020.

Does your baby struggle to drift off to dreamland? If so, you aren’t alone. A recent survey of 500 U.K. and 500 U.S. parents by Sleep Junkie found that parents spend an average of five hours and 25 minutes a day getting their babies to sleep.

With a little basic math, those five hours and 25 minutes per day equals roughly 82 days a year. That’s 82 days lost to bedtime-based activities such as feeding, walking, driving, reading, bathing and burping.

Sleep Junkie broke down the data into how much time parents report spending on each get-ready-for-bedtime activity, with feeding coming in at first place (one hours and 46 minutes per day).

The second highest time-suck was walking at one hour and 21 minutes––that’s a grand total of 4.23 miles per day! Driving followed in third with parents driving an average of 41 minutes, or 20 miles, per day just to get junior to sleep.

Other time spent engaging in bedtime activities included 34 minutes on reading, 29 minutes on bathing and 24 minutes on burping.

Barbie’s Inspiring Women series is getting two new additions with some of the most inspiring women of all time, Rosa Parks and Sally Ride.

The Inspiring Women series debuted last year on International Women’s Day featuring Barbie dolls based on artist Frida Kahlo, aviator Amelia Earhart and NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson. Now civil rights activist, Rosa Parks and the first American woman in space, Sally Ride, will join these iconic women to inspire new generations of girls through play.

“These historical women broke boundaries that made the world a better place for future generations of girls,” a press release from Barbie stated.

“As a brand that is dedicated to inspiring the limitless potential in every girl, Barbie is shining a spotlight on role models, historical and modern, to show them they can be anything,” Lisa McKnight, senior vice president and global head of Barbie, told HuffPost. “Both Sally Ride and Rosa Parks are changemakers, so these dolls celebrate their achievements, while also encouraging girls to challenge the status quo.”

The Sally Ride Barbie is available online now and the Rosa Parks Barbie can be pre-ordered for delivery on Sep. 6.

Airports can be stressful places when you have small kids. Between the large crowds and all the lines, it can be easy to lose sight of your young travelers if you’re not careful. One mom learned that the hard way when her toddler took a ride on the airport conveyor belt.

Edith Vega was printing out her boarding passes when she looked away from her two-year-old son, Lorenzo. Her curious son quickly found his way to the luggage conveyor belt and CCTV cameras in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport captured just what happened next.

The child accessed the conveyor belt from behind the ticket counter, an unstaffed area. As the boy was whisked away, mom took notice and immediately asked for help. Once airport officials realized what happened, staff stopped the belt from the top, but the toddler was already on his way.

Airport security footage follows Lorenzo through several luggage points until his final arrival into the TSA bag room, where officials quickly jumped into action.. While they did manage to rescue him, he, unfortunately, broke his hand in the process during the five-minute ride.

Officials are looking more into the incident to ensure protocol is followed.

Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel’s son Adler is finally ready to go home with his proud parents. Like many mamas, Fishel hasn’t had an easy time during her little guy’s first few weeks.

Fishel and husband Jensen Karp recently reveled the scary details of their son’s birth. After Fishel’s water broke one month before her due date, the actress was hospitalized. An ultrasound showed fluid in the baby’s lungs, forcing Fishel into an early delivery.

Finally, after three long weeks, Adler is coming home. Fishel wrote, on Instagram, “Adler is 3 weeks old today and officially a NICU graduate!” The new mama continued, “We never wanted to know this hospital and its staff so well but now that we do, we can say with certainty there is no better place for children with medical needs.”

Fishel also sent a sweet sentiment to other new mamas and papas in her situation, “Finally, our love and hugs to every single parent who has ever spent time in the NICU and especially those we left behind today.”

Cynthia Arnold is a runner, record-breaker and a super-mama. The Montana mom to three recently finished the Missoula Marathon in just over three hours—and while pushing all three of her kiddo’s in a super-stroller.

Arnold’s latest run gave her the unofficial title as fastest person to run a marathon while pushing a three-person stroller. And this isn’t even the first time the mama has had a record-holding run!

Last year Arnold broke the triple stroller-pushing record while running the 2018 Missoula Half Marathon. This time the mom ran a full 26.2 miles, with her six, four and one-year-old in tow. That’s an additional 185 pounds (including the stroller).

So what’s next for this marathon mama? Arnold told Runner’s World she has plans to go solo on her next race, but that doesn’t mean she’ll ditch her stroller yet. “I was laughing with my husband about throwing the stroller into a ditch or off a cliff, you know, say goodbye to that heavy old thing.”

The record-breaker went on to tell Runner’s World, “But I would never really do that. I tear up when I think any day could be the last day my oldest daughter goes for a run in the stroller. She can ride her bike while I run now.”

This Working Mom Just Won the World Cup

Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World actress Danielle Fishel and her husband, Jensen Karp, welcomed a beautiful baby boy on Jun. 24.

Fishel’s baby, Adler Lawrence Karp, made his grand debut four weeks earlier than expected. One day before Fishel was set to go on maternity leave her water broke, sending her to the hospital.

During an ultrasound, Fishel’s OB found fluid in Adler’s lungs. The actress was put on magnesium sulfate and she delivered soon after. When sharing her birth story on Instagram, Fishel noted, “We still don’t have Adler home with us because the deeply good doctors and nurses in the NICU are working diligently to find out why the fluid is there and determine the best way to get it out.”

The actress went on to write, “I can’t wait to share more details about him with you (he hates having a poopy diaper for even 1 minute, he loves bath time, he has the cutest sneezes I’ve ever heard) and sing the praises of his NICU care team but I prefer to do that when Adler is in this crib in his nursery at home on a still unknown future date.”

Congrats to the new parents and we hope they get to take their sweet little boy home soon!
