Looking for an eco-friendly, space-saving solution to regular Tupperware? Stojo, the wildly popular portable storage solution company, just dropped its line of bowls, cups and mugs at Target. They’re great for travel, meal prep, or summer camp!

We love the 12-ounce collapsible cup with the straw at only $12.99. It holds hot or cold beverages, it’s dishwasher safe and it’s BPA free. You can also snag the 16-ounce travel mug with a straw for five more dollars! Finally, there’s a 20-ounce water bottle that’s perfect for the gym, complete with a tether attachment.

For food storage options, snag the sandwich box, which holds up to three cups of any hot or cold food. It’s also only $12.99 and collapses almost flat. Finally, the salad bowl can store up to 36 ounces for $17.99. Both have snap-on lids for an airtight seal and they’re nestable for compact storage.

All of the new products come in four colors: carnation, cashmere, denim and a signature new aquamarine. Even better? Stojo is designed by dads who wanted to do better for the planet and their kids. A stylish, practical way to make the earth a better place!

Fun With Food: 23 Wacky Mealtime Utensils

Once you pop you can’t stop—not a Dunkin’ slogan but it’s just popping to mind. That’s because the company just announced Popping Bubbles, strawberry bursting bubbles that can be added to any cold drink. And there’s a fun contest in store, too!

Starting June 23, you can try this fun add-on to your frosty beverage of choice. It’s made with color sourced from plants and the strawberry flavor adds a fruity twist perfect for summertime. All beverages with the bubbles will come with a new pink and orange wide paper straw to fully enhance the popping experience.

The launch pairs with a new instant win online game that rolls out on July 2. Follow Dunkin’ on Instagram for the game link, which allows you to pop virtual bubbles to reveal if you’ve won one of thousands of gift cards or other rewards, like inflatable pool rafts or a cash grand prize. Make sure you’re on it, because you can only play during the month of July.

If you’re pondering which bev to add your bubbles to, Lemonade Refreshers launched this spring and would give you that color contrast for the ‘Gram. But you could also be bold and add it to a frozen matcha latte or a Dunkaccino. The options are endless!

Ahhh…the Slurpee. When the summer temps spike and heat stroke seems imminent, not much sounds better than the classic ice-cold concoction. 7-Eleven is innovating on the fan favorite this year with the release of stay cold cups, filled with a small Slurpee for just one dollar.

You’ll also be able to fill the stay cold cup with a new flavor, Peach Perfect. Fans of this fuzzy fruit will be stoked for this one, since it’s made with real juice! Find it at participating 7-Eleven stores starting now.

The popular convenience store has a few more tricks up its sleeve for outdoor season. Grab 10 bone-in wings or a whole pizza for only five dollars and get them delivered through the 7NOW delivery app. You can even get delivery wherever your family is posted up to enjoy the day, whether it’s the beach or the park. The app is offered in more than 1,300 U.S. cities and also offers real-time tracking so you can keep your eye on the proverbial dinner prize.

We’re excited to get this summer started! Especially since the odds of our Slurpee melting just dramatically lowered and food delivery is more convenient than ever. See you at 7-Eleven!

Calling all Muggles! Universal Studios has made a big announcement: hot Butterbeer can now be enjoyed the entire year long.

Prior to the happy news, which Universal Studios Orlando made on Twitter, fans of the butterscotchy-drink were only privy to it during the cold, winter months. Now it doesn’t take a drizzle to get your hands on a steaming cup of the novel-worthy beverage.

If you can’t fathom enjoying the hot drink on an equally hot day, you can still enjoy the rest of The Wizard World of Harry Potter’s other treats. Cool off with a cold or frozen Butterbeer, and then top it off with some Butterbeer soft serve.

There’s only one catch: so far, only the Orlando theme park has made the announcement. That means, you can currently only snag a cup of hot Butterbeer if you head to Florida!

Parenting a three-year-old is hard.

Why, you ask?

I’ll tell you all the ways.

They never want your help, unless it’s something they can for sure do by themselves. Like when they want that thing that’s right next to them. But for some reason they cannot actually get it themselves and you just sat down on the other side of the room. Yeah, they want your help then.

You cannot reason with them. You think they should wear a jacket because it’s cold outside? Nope. Never going to happen. You’re either going to go outside without it and they will want to come back by the time you’ve made it to the end of the driveway or you have to try the bring-it-for-them-in-case-they-need it technique.

They will try your patience. It doesn’t matter how patient you are. There are times when it will not be quite enough. This is a stall tactic that they particularly like to use at times when you have somewhere to be or are already low on patience, like bedtime. It’s not that they move at the pace of a sloth, it’s more that they will not focus on the thing you actually want them to be doing. You ask them to go to the bathroom before bed. They will take off all their clothes. Roll around on the floor. Pick up a toy. Go into a different room (that’s not the bathroom). A million other things besides go into the bathroom.

They think they’re in charge. They would like to tell you exactly how every single thing should get done. And exactly what you are and are not allowed to do or help with.

They think you can read their mind. They will yell at you for giving them the wrong color cup. Without ever telling you what color cup they wanted in the first place. They will yell at you for turning off the light, even when they normally expect you to do it.

They can’t make up their minds. When you ask them a question they will say no. Wait a second. Then they will decide yes. It may stop there or they may change their answer a few more times. (Yes, this also tries your patience, but is still a whole category of it’s own.)

They have double standards. They can decide who is allowed in the bathroom with them. But they will not let you decide who can be in the bathroom with you.

So yes, parenting a three-year-old is hard. Thankfully they also laugh, smile, tell you they love you and sometimes they’re just plain fun. And that’s what makes it all worth it.

I'm a mom to 3 little girls and passionate about helping other moms find time to enjoy their kids by simplifying their lives.

Is hiking your new fave family go-to activity? With indoor activities on the outs this year, plenty of parents are looking for outdoor ideas.

Whether you’re on the hunt for a new outdoorsy vaycay spot or just want to get outside for an afternoon of family-friendly fun, LawnStarter put together a list of the top cities in the United States for hiking!

photo: Nina Uhlikova via Pexels

LawnStarter chose 11 key indicators, grouped into four categories, to rank the most hike-able cities in America. These categories include “access” (the key indicators are number of hiking routes, number of camping sites, number of camping stores), “diversity” (the key indicators are variety of route difficulty), “climate” (the key indicators are yearly average number of very cold days), yearly average of very hot days, sunshine, average monthly precipitation, and air quality) and “safety” (the key indicators are natural hazards index and natural/environmental death rate).

After reviewing the stats, LawnStarter ranked the top 10 cities for hiking:

  1. San Francisco, CA
  2. Oakland, CA
  3. Los Angeles, CA
  4. San Diego, CA
  5. Portland, OR
  6. San Jose, CA
  7. Huntington Beach, CA
  8. Moreno, CA
  9. Tucson, AZ
  10. Long Beach, CA

If you’re looking for the city with the most hiking routes, Phoenix, Arizona is the top choice. Hikers who want the best variety of route difficulty will enjoy walking work outs in San Bernardino, California and Salt Lake City, Utah. Fams who aren’t into the chilly weather, should check out the cities with the lowest yearly average number of very cold days—Miami Florida and San Francisco, California.

Get the rest of the stats from the study on LawnStarter’s website here.
