Conceiving after a loss can be a complicated mix of emotions for moms, but it can make all the difference to know that you’re not alone. That was exactly the case for a group of moms from Alabama who gathered to commemorate their rainbow babies with a special photo shoot.

Photographer Ashley Sargent of Ashley Sargent Photography took the stunning photos of a group of 40 moms with one very important thing in common––they all suffered a loss and welcomed a rainbow baby after. Each, along with their kids of varying ages, was dressed in a different color creating a rainbow effect when they all posed together.

“We wanted to spread the message of hope and ‘You’re not alone,'” Sargent told Good Morning America. “I never experienced a miscarriage myself, but I dealt with infertility. It’s a very [lonely] feeling that you have.”

Sargent explained in her Facebook post that she had come with the idea to host the photo shoot after a rainbow baby photo shoot received dozens of comments from moms who had been through the same experience. “There were so many mothers commenting that it inspired me for this idea,” Sargent wrote in her Facebook post. “I began to have this idea (or vision, I should say)… of seeing dozens upon dozens of mothers coming together, all as one, dressed in colors of the rainbow along with their miracle child. I wanted mothers and children of every age. In my mind, this idea was going to be a vision of hope.”

In addition to the group shot, Sargent photographed each parent and child individually and shared each of their stories or loss and new hope in her post. Each photo has garnered comments from other moms who have had similar experiences.

“This shoot was important in spreading hope to other women who have experienced the loss of a baby, but it was also a celebration of [life],” mom of two who had suffered two miscarriages, Kelli Kidd, explained. She posed in the photo with her four-year-old son Lawson. “Lawson is turning 5 and starting kindergarten. It causes me to think of the babies I lost, but to be especially grateful to be able to see Lawson grow up.”

It’s been half a century since the grim grinning ghosts took up residence at the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and it’s time to celebrate with a ghoulish bash and of course, plenty of spooktacular souvenirs.

Guests at both Disneyland and Disney World will have the chance to commemorate this very special anniversary beginning Aug. 9 with an incredible limited edition collection featuring apparel, accessories, collectibles and more. If you just can’t get enough of those hitchhiking ghosts, you can start by taking one home with you in a jar.

The Host A Ghost! glass jar allows you to conjure up your ghoulish pals at home thanks to a little magic from Madame Leota. The ghost selection includes Constance Hatchaway, Professor Phineas Plump, The Hatbox Ghost and more.

It wouldn’t be a Disney Parks event without special ears and you can score from a selection of commemrative ear hats and headbands. They’ll pair perfectly with Haunted Mansion Anniversary t-shirts and a Dooney & Burke collection of handbags.

You’ll also find jewelry collections by PANDORA and ALEX and ANI, commemorative pins, a toy replica of a doom buggy and so much more. One of the best pieces by far, however, is a FunkoPop collab featuring a miniature version of the all knowing Madame Leota inside her crystal ball.

Guests will also be treated to sweets like the Host-A-Ghost chocolate cupcake made with a dark chocolate truffle filling, crispy pearls, buttercream icing and milk chocolate decoration. You can also take home a special ghostly photo with Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots.

All of the merchandise will be available at select retailers at Disneyland and Disney World beginning Aug. 9 as long as supplies last.

June is national LGBTQ Pride Month and New York hosts one of the biggest Pride Parades in the country, so it’s only fitting that it should also be home to the world’s smallest Pride Parade.

At the LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester visitors are invited to attend the world’s smallest Pride Parade through the streets of a miniature New York City, all made out of your favorite plastic bricks.

To commemorate the fifty years since the Stonewall riots that brought LGBTQ rights to the public eye, the LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester has transformed its MINILAND Times Square streets with rainbow flags, “Pride” and “Love is Love” floats and a ‘Stonewall 50’ billboard.

The parade and rainbows will be marching through MINILAND Times Square streets all month long until the real NYC Pride Parade on Jun. 30.

Are you a mother of your very own baby dragon? Then why not commemorate that milestone with a Game of Thrones newborn photo shoot. That’s exactly what one photographer has done and the results are stunning.

If you want a newborn photoshoot to rival the beauty of the seven kingdoms, then why not dress your baby up like the King in the North? Photographer Shannon Leigh has gone viral for her adorable Game of Thrones-themed photos of newborns.

The images feature babies dressed up as Daenarys and Jon Snow seated on a miniature version of the Iron Throne, which Shannon says her husband made for her. She told POPSUGAR, “My hubby made the amazing Iron Throne out of wood — he carved out all the swords and handles, and it’s only 24 inches tall! We do newborn sessions when they’re 6 to 14 days old, so the babies are tiny!”

Leigh runs the photography company with her husband in their hometown outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Even if you’re not in the area, however, you can still have a Game of Thrones photoshoot of your own. You can purchase a digital version of the backdrop in Shannon’s Etsy shop for your tiny heir to the Iron Throne.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part is headed to theaters soon and it will feature a surprising appearance by a real life hero. Not only will you be able to spot RBG in LEGO form on the big screen, but fans can take her home thanks to the new Ruth Bader Ginsburg LEGO minifigure!

“These movies are so full of surprises. And we were thinking, ‘Who’s the last person you would think to see in a LEGO film as a minifig?’ Ruth Bader Ginsburg!” director Mike Mitchell tells USA TODAY. “And we’re all huge fans. It made us laugh to think of having her enter this world.”

Producers and screenwriters Chris Miller and Phil Lord believe Ginsburg fits perfectly in the LEGO universe—and apparently she agrees. While Ginsburg doesn’t voice the character herself, the team did reach out to her for approval on using her likeness. “She said, ‘Of course, I’d love to be a LEGO figure. That would be cool,’ ” says Mitchell.

As an official LEGO Movie 2 character, the 85-year-old Supreme Court Justice will also get her very own LEGO minifigure to commemorate the role. “So there will be a real Ruth Bader Ginsburg toy that boys and girls can play with. It will even come with a gavel,” says Mitchell.

Your first Mother’s Day is a day you will never forget. While many milestones and firsts are all about baby, this is one that is all about you. Here are 9 special ways to commemorate Mother’s Day for first-time mamas.

1. Document the day in photos.
There are never enough photos of moms with their babies. Go old school and use real film, like with an Instax Mini 8 Camera. Or take digital photos and have them printed so you’ll always remember this big day. Snap selfies throughout the day, and ask loved ones to take photos of you. From eating breakfast to cuddling and reading books, these are moments you’ll treasure forever.

2. Ease into the day.
Parents usually need lots (and lots) of coffee or tea to power through the day, so start your first Mother’s Day with a quiet moment savoring a cup in bed before you embark on a hectic day of fun with your bub. Before Mother’s Day, drop hints for a personalized mug, like this new-mom mug from Etsy shop Field trip ($10.80), or buy it for yourself to commemorate your new role. It’s simple yet sweet and something that is certain to make you smile for years to come.

3. Get your craft on.
It’s never too early for a craft project with your baby. You might do most of the work, but baby can supply some scribbles, a footprint or handprint, or a beautiful face for a photo. Check out our article 16 Mother’s Day Crafts to Make with Your Baby for lots of great ideas, at various artistic-skill levels.

4. Treat yourself to flowers.
Add some color and fragrance to your home with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, picked by your sweet babe (with mom or dad’s help). They’ll stay fresh for the next week or so and will brighten each day!

Chatbooks

5. Create a book about those first moments.
First bath, first laugh and so many other important moments. Capture those magical memories into a book with Chatbooks. This app creates books from your Facebook and Instagram feeds, giving you an easy way to capture those moments and keep them accessible. Perfect for the coffee table, or even your desk at the office.

6. Choose your special meal.
Eat at home or dine out? Brunch or barbecue? Casual or fancy? So many options, but one main focus: Mom gets to pick! The rules are simple: Mom doesn’t cook or wash dishes. Her only job is to kick back, eat her favorite foods, including dessert, and have an enjoyable meal.

7. Keep it close to your heart.
There’s a reason why jewelry is a popular and traditional gift — it’s sentimental and something you can both wear and treasure. This “Mama” necklace from Etsy shop Made by Mary ($48-$56, depending on options) dresses up your outfits and shows your pride in your new role.

8. Journal the day.
We’ve all heard the new-mom saying: “The days are long, but the years are short.” Use Mother’s Day as the kickoff to starting a journal about milestones, small moments and special memories you want to savor. Make it easy on yourself with the One Line a Day journal or something less formal, like a decorative notebook. You can share these memories with your child when they get older, and then pass on the book to them when they become a parent years from now.

9. Make it a day all about Mom.
Hit your favorite place for brunch, enjoy a guilt-free afternoon nap, spend an hour at the park with the entire family, whatever makes you happiest. The day is all about you, Mom, so let others know how to help you feel celebrated.

How will you be celebrating your first Mother’s Day?

9 Summer Essentials Every New Mom Should Carry

Though it can feel like it goes on forever, pregnancy is pretty fleeting in the grand scheme of parenting, which is why it can be fun to document that ever-growing baby bump with maternity pictures. One mom not only wanted to capture the beauty of her baby belly, but she decided to make her pictures truly unique, with a maternity photo shoot at Taco Bell.

Expectant mom Kristin Johnston is about to welcome her second child and decided to do something a little bit different to commemorate the occasion. Instead of a maternity photo shoot on a sun-splashed beach or sprawling meadow, Johnston chose to take her pics at a Taco Bell. Johnston explained that she was inspired when she saw a few high school seniors taking their senior portraits at Taco Bell. She has always loved Taco Bell and kept them busy with her pregnancy cravings, so it just made perfect sense. “My friends and family all thought the pics were so funny and SO me, everyone knows I love Taco Bell!,” she said.

Johnston shared the pictures on her blog Strollers and Stilletos, as well as posting on Facebook where she got plenty of positive reactions, with many moms relating, not only to her fun-loving side, but also her pregnant passion for Taco Bell. She got some reactions in the midst of her photo shoot, too. “It was a really fun shoot, and having it at sunset also meant it was rush hour traffic at an already very busy intersection – I definitely got some odd looks but most everyone drove by and laughed or gave me a thumbs up!” Check out more of these awesome pictures here.
