The collaboration studied Disney princesses most prized possessions by taking into consideration size, precious metals and stones to determine the real life cost of their royal jewelry. So who won as the most pricey?

With her three-piece set that includes an orb, sceptre and tiara, Queen Elsa took home the prize with an $800,000 price tag. Experts believe her accessories are made of solid gold with a roughly 20-carat sapphire adorning her gorgeous tiara.

Prepping that back-to-school style isn’t just about the threads. A new haircut or hairstyle can be a great way to start the school year off on the right foot. From classic cuts to trendy styles, we’ve rounded up our favorite kids’ hairstyles and haircuts for kids to inspire your tykes (and you!) to update their tresses.

Kids’ Haircuts

Bangs

If you've got a kid who can pull off bangs, go for it! You can trim them up in between cuts, and she'll stand out in a crowd. Be sure to snag a proper pair of scissors that are designed for trimming hair.

Buzz Cut

Quite possibly the easiest haircut of all time, if you don't want to worry about styling anyone's hairdo before hurrying out the door, the buzz cut is your answer. Do you have the right trimmer?

Curly Bob

For curly haired-kiddos, this is a perfect length. It'll still have plenty of volume, and it won't be too hard to maintain. Be sure to use plenty of detangler or a leave-in conditioner when dealing with sensitive little heads.

Mattel Releases New Alex Morgan Barbie Doll

Barbie is known for celebrating extraordinary women and inspiring girls to reach their goals. Barbie is celebrating U.S. soccer star, Alex Morgan as part of their ongoing Role Model Series. These New Face Shields Were Inspired by an Eight-Year-Old

If you hate wearing masks, there are face shields on the market that can offer protection comparable to, if not better than, a face mask. Rebel Shields was inspired by 8-year-old Summer Soleil and invented by a nurse. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Once “stay at home” orders hit, Soleil wanted to start a company with her idea to solve a current problem. After Soleil’s father became ill with COVID-19, her entire family needed to quarantine on separate floors. They searched for face shields instead of masks to wear around the house since they would need to be wearing them 24/7. A nurse treating COVID-19 patients designed the Rebel Shield visor with Soliel’s input, in the hopes adoption of face shields would help save more lives.

According to The Journal of the American Medical Association, “In a simulation study, face shields were shown to reduce immediate viral exposure by 96% when worn by a simulated health care worker within 18 inches of a cough.” Additionally, there is greater protection all around because the shield does not touch the face. The shields are reusable and clean easily with soap and water.

The visor is attached to a steel hinge, so the wearer can flip up the visor when not in use. The graphic is made of perforated film for clear one-way visibility and a padded headband makes the visor comfortable enough to wear all day.

Summer time means warm lazy days spent with family, with maybe a beach or camping trip added in for good measure. While you’re chasing your kids and making memories the last thing you want to worry about is your hair. Luckily we’ve got you covered with some easy summer hairstyles that are cute and functional.

Pineapple Updo

A fun, but easy hairstyle to keep your curly or natural hair up and out of the way is with a Pineapple Updo like the one shown in this easy to follow YouTube tutorial by SimplyBiancaAlexa. All you need is a little moisturizer and a scrunchie, and you’ll have a perfect updo in minutes.

Top Knot

If the summer sun has you overheating, sweep your hair up into a top knot that’s easy and playful. Keep it sleek and pinned for a cleaner look or just let the ends hang loose for a little more messy fun.

Messy French Braid

This is a great look for short hair when you want to sweep it back, but still keep some volume. Work your hair into a loose French braid and tie it off with a short ponytail.

Headbands don’t have to be relegated to bad hair days and gym visits. Elevate a basic top knot or ponytail by wrapping a floral print scarf into an accent piece.
