Mattel Releases New “Star Wars” Themed Collector Barbie Dolls

Barbie has teamed up with Star Wars on its latest collaboration paying homage to Star Wars, by putting a high-fashion twist on iconic characters. Last year, Mattel introduced a line of Star Wars x Barbie dolls inspired by Princess Leia, Darth Vader and R2-D2. This year, they have unveiled additional dolls inspired by Chewbacca, C-3PO, Rey and Stormtrooper characters.

Disney Hollywood Studios’ newest attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens Mar. 4 and in honor of the new ride, guests will be able to shop a brand new merch line! The wacky collection is all about the cartoon craziness you’ll be able to experience when you hop aboard the new ride.

Perhaps the most whimsical item in the collection is the new Mickey headband, which comes with clear ears that hold images of Mickey and Minnie, along with a train and engineer Goofy. The limited-edition headband also includes the name of the attraction’s theme song, Nothing Can Stop Us Now! embroidered on the side.

Other train-inspired items in the collection include a whistle, ornament, pull back toy, MagicBand and sculpted mug. If you’re looking for a more vintage find, you’ll love the throwback classic Mickey and Minnie ears that are covered in sequins,

New Light-Up Balloon Mickey Ears Debut at Parks & It’s the Best Day Ever

Last week, Disney Style announced that a new Mickey Balloon Ear Headband is joining the pack! The newest headgear has clear globes for ears with an inner red Mickey balloon––that lights up!

The velour headband comes with combs to help keep in place, which is helpful since the battery packs that power the lights make this a little extra heavy. On the side are the words “Best Day Ever” embroidered in red, blue and yellow.

The headbands are already available for purchase at Disneyland for $35 each, and will roll out to Walt Disney World before you know it.

It’s been 30 years since Disney’s The Little Mermaid hit theaters, but the love for Ariel and her underwater adventure has yet to wane. In a new collaboration with the Disney Parks Designer Collection, Betsey Johnson is the newest celeb to give her take on the beloved classic.

With Johnson’s love for bold colors and designs that wow, her lineup of Minnie ears and themed jewelry is a showstopper. To start, the newest headband is all about the reversible sequins, a dinglehopper and a glammed out Flounder and Sebastian!

In addition, the collection also includes some bling. Glittery gems adorn necklaces, bracelets and earrings in this limited-edition lineup.

The Minnie Mouse Ear Headband by Betsey Johnson features pink tulle ears and a sparkling sequin bow Minnie would absolutely love.
