Hop into Spring with Lowe’s Free Garden Kits for Kids

Are you looking for a way to get your kiddo into gardening this spring? Lowe’s has an answer! The home improvement store has Garden-To-Go Kits that feature new activities each week.

Even though in-person events are out for the time being, Lowe’s new kits are a way to entertain and educate your children—all in one one convenient place.

The kits change by the week, featuring different fun, family-friendly themes. Kits that are soon to come include a Mystery Garden Pinata Kit with a biodegradable piñata filled with mystery seed bombs, a Tree Giveaway with a real sapling and a Butterfly Quest Kit that comes with the wood needed to assemble a butterfly house, paint, a paintbrush and seeds.

To get your kiddo’s free (yes free!) kit, visit Lowe’s website here. Families must “register” for the free kit online, with one kit given out per family. You must sign-up for the kit at least one week before the kit distribution date. Parents can pick up the kits curbside at their local participating Lowe’s store between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. on Apr. 15, Apr. 22 or Apr. 29.

Tell the truth. Have you solved the Rubik’s Cube or are you guilty of peeling the stickers off? Tomorrow, on National Puzzle Day, @rubiksofficial is going live on TikTok with Rubik’s ambassadors Joshua and Wendy.

Some people can solve the Rubik’s Cube in just a few twists and turns. It’s almost magical to watch. Others take their time, carefully planning their moves. Working at solving the Rubik’s Cube is the perfect way to pass the time, especially during the pandemic. Puzzles have been flying off shelves and have helped kids and adults improve their mood and lower stress levels.

Today, Jan. 29, log into TikTok and go to @rubiks official at 1 p.m. ET. You will be able to watch Wendy build a mystery Rubik’s Cube Mosaic. Wendy and Joshua will also be discussing how the Rubik’s Cube has kept them occupied and engaged through the lockdown.

Some people tune in for the big game while others are more interested in the commercials. Last week Doritos first teased their Super Bowl ad starring Jimmy Kimmel and Mindy Kaling. Today, they released a second teaser revealing that Flat Matthew is in fact Matthew McConaughey.

We haven’t seen what Flat Matthew actually looks like but we do hear McConaughey’s voice.

In last week’s teaser, Kimmel introduces his mysterious talk show guest to a shocked Mindy Kaling. “Did you see him backstage? He’s got a whole new look. Like a look that no one’s ever had before,” says Kimmel to Kaling referring to the mystery star.

Doritos has been a Super Bowl fixture for more than two decades, this year the brand is bringing a whole new dimension to gameday with the highly anticipated return of Doritos 3D Crunch.

Now we can only guess how McConaughey will get back to his original shape. No doubt it will involve a bag of Doritos 3D Crunch.

We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see how this unfolds.

Doritos has been a Super Bowl fixture for more than two decades, this year the brand is bringing a whole new dimension to gameday with the highly anticipated return of Doritos 3D Crunch. To mark the occasion, Doritos debuted its Super Bowl campaign, #FlatMatthew, with a cliff-hanging teaser that leaves fans guessing who exactly the commercial’s secret star could be.

Fans can get a first glimpse of the commercial in a teaser video Doritos dropped today [see here], which features Jimmy Kimmel introducing his mysterious talk show guest to a shocked Mindy Kaling. “Did you see him backstage? He’s got a whole new look. Like a look that no one’s ever had before,” says Kimmel to Kaling referring to the mystery star.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce this campaign to the world and see fans’ smiles,” said Rachel Ferdinando, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Frito-Lay North America. “With the launch of our biggest innovation in a decade in new Doritos 3D Crunch, we wanted to share in a big way.
