  • Brand Wrap: This modern, scaled-up version of the ribbon design features bold bands of holiday color and the Starbucks wordmark, designer street style.

What’s a more delicious treat than a batch of mom’s homemade, fresh-baked cookies? Probably not much, but combining them with ice cream à la Baskin-Robbins’ ‘Mom’s Makin’ Cookies’ flavor has to be high on the list.

The ice cream retailer announced on August 4th (AKA National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day) that this fan-favorite flavor is returning to shops as August’s Flavor of the Month.

The ‘Mom’s Makin’ Cookies’ flavor originally launched for Mother’s Day in 2014 and is packed with cookie flavors. It combines brown sugar flavored ice cream with chocolate chip cookie pieces, chocolate flavored chips and a cookie dough-flavored ribbon.

The flavor will be available at Baskin-Robbins locations nationwide for a limited-time during August and September, and there’s no time like the present to treat yourself! The only question now is: cup or cone?

All the world’s a stage and for the kiddos that whole world might be your living room right now. Revisit Elizabethan times with this collar made from coffee filters, an easy craft your baby bards can help out with, an easy and cute DIY costume. Read on for thine own directions.

coffee filter shakespeare collar tutorial
You will need:

Coffee filters (white ones are best)
Ribbon or string
Hole punch
Stapler
Scissors

Step 1. Fold your coffee filter in half, then in half again. You can stop here (folded in fourths) or keep going to one more fold (which works better for smaller necks).

Step 2. Staple your folded piece, about 3/4″ or so.

Step 3. Hole punch just under the staple.

Step 4. Cut the point off the folded filter, just under the hole you made.

Step 5. Measure your string or ribbon to fit the child’s neck, then add a few inches on each side for ease of tying. String ’em!

elizabethan collar shakespeare costume kid

Tips & Tricks
The pieces tend to stay the same direction when stapled/punched/cut the same size and length or at least close. With kids the results are sure to be a bit uneven, so try to keep a little space between the pieces when stringing. It seems counter-intuitive but actually helps them stay flat (so they fan out better).

You are probably going to need 30-50 filters, more the bigger the kid.

Nothing spells love quite like a decadent dessert and Baskin-Robbins is scooping up something special for Valentine’s Day in February.

Baskin-Robbins’ new Valentine’s Day Card Cakes are a sweet way to show someone how much you love them. The mini ice cream cakes, which are perfect for sharing with your little lovebugs, are designed to look like classic valentines and candy grams, each with a special message on top. There are five in all to choose from and they can be found in the dipping cabinet at participating Baskin-Robbins locations.

The popular ice cream chain is also rolling out a new Flavor of the Month for your next date night. The aptly named Date Night flavor combines chocolate with caramel and a hint of salt. The enticing mixture is swirled with mini milk chocolate caramel cups and a caramel ribbon.

You can enjoy the special flavor on its own or in a Date Night Three-Scoop Sundae, which tops the ice cream with caramel pralines, hot fudge, real whipped light cream, chopped almonds and a cherry on top.

For the month of February, Baskin-Robbins is also bringing back the fan favorite Love Potion #31 which features a white chocolate and raspberry flavored ice cream with chocolate chips, raspberry-filled chocolate flavored hearts and raspberry swirl.

Actress Hilary Duff recently wed Matthew Koma in an intimate ceremony at the couple’s Los Angeles home. Even though the nuptials were private, Duff shared the details on her dress with Vogue.

In a video posted by Vogue, Duff opens up and talks about Koma’s proposal and her wedding plans. The actress reveals her wedding-day hairstyle and gives fans a glimpse of her gorgeous gown.

The simple, structured flowing white gown, which was designed by Jenny Packham, is sleek and as Duff describes it, a “statement” dress that is, “gorgeous and toned down.”

Along with the design itself, Duff dished on her plans to make the dress extra-meaningful. “There’s a sweet little embroidery with our initials. There’s an M and an H and then the date of our wedding.” The newlywed continues, “And over here there’s initials for our kids.”

After revealing the sweet tribute to her kiddos Luca and Banks, Duff went on to say, “They’re part of our ceremony and obviously the biggest part of our life.” Huff then mused, “Maybe someday Banks will want to wear my dress.”

Duff also showed off Banks’ dress—which was also designed by Packham. The 14-month-old’s dress was white, like her mama’s, but also had a sweet pink ribbon across the front and a massively adorable bow at the back!

If you just can’t get enough of Baby Yoda, you can celebrate the adorable Mandalorian character with a tasty Starbucks Frappuccino.

From Jack Skellington to the Grinch, there are Frappuccinos inspired by all of your favorite characters and now you can order a Baby Yoda Frappuccino. While viewers are well aware that the pint-sized green creature in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian is not in fact Yoda as a baby, the unbelievably cute character still carries the catchy name.

You can’t just step up to a Starbucks counter and ask for a Baby Yoda Frappuccino, however. As a secret menu item created by Totally the Bomb you’ll have to know exactly what to ask for in order to score this sweet concoction.

Start by ordering a matcha green tea Frappuccino. Then add a caramel drizzle to the cup (representing Yoda’s cloak). Finally top it off with whipped cream, caramel and caramel ribbon crunchies and you’ll have the perfect drink to enjoy while you watch new episodes of The Mandalorian on Disney+.
