Get into the Spirit with Nickelodeon’s “Nickmas” Lineup

Hello, holidays! To get everyone in the spirit, Nickelodeon is ready to launch Nickmas, an event featuring over 100 hours of seasonal content.

Beginning Thur., Nov. 19, Nickmas will be packed with 21 premieres of Nickelodeon’s live-action, animation and preschool series. Get ready for season two premier of Top Elf, The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular; and all-new episodes PAW Patrol, Santiago of the Seas, Blue’s Clues & You!, The Casagrandes, The Substitute, All That, and Danger Force.

When it comes to shining stars this holiday, don’t miss The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular on Sat. Nov. 28 at 9 p.m.This special event features musical performances from Ne-Yo, JoJo Siwa and That Girl Lay Lay. Other celeb appearances will include plenty of Nick stars, Jay Pharoah, Trevor Noah and Young Dylan.

Did we also mentions that you’ll finally be able to catch the premiere of Baby Shark’s Big Show!? Get your fave ear worm back on Fri. Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m. and watch Baby Shark and his friend William save Fishmas.

Clean Cup, Move Down! Throw a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Home

Whether it’s your un-birthday or just after school, it’s always a good time for tea. Celebrate Mad Hatter Day any day and gather round your lovies, machines, snakes and dolls. All are welcome at an ad-hoc tea party fit for a king (or a tractor). Read on for some easy inspiration.

You will need:

A table, or you can make it a picnic tea party on the floor.

A tablecloth.

Tea cups, preferably assorted and mismatched.

A tea pot.

Snacks. We like fresh fruit and few treats for after school, but you can honestly serve anything.

Attendees. (Let your child select the attendees.)

A hat.

Step One: Gather your items. Remember, the key here is to use what you have. If your child has a tea set, great, but coffee cups work just as well. No tea? Use water. Somehow, it tastes more spectacular out of a tea cup.

Step Two: Have your child help decorate the table. Since your trying to invoke the Mad Hatter’s tea party, a little colorful chaos is okay.

Step Three: Bring the attendees in. Remember, this needn’t be limited to dolls and stuffed animals. Our Editor’s son brought along a front-end loader, a K’Nex creature, snakes and monster trucks as well as stuffed animals.

Step Four: Bring on the tea and cookies! If there’s room at the table you might even be able to join them. You can read the Mad Tea Party scene from the book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, at this link, out loud while they enjoy their tea.

Step Five: Don your hat and enjoy!

They’re magically delicious, or are they? Earlier this month, Lucky Charms’ famous marshmallow charms were mysteriously losing their magic, and the only hope in restoring them was to use the power of the special Lucky Charms song: “Hearts, Stars, and Horseshoes. Clovers and Blue Moons. Unicorns, Rainbows, and Tasty Red Balloons!” From coast to coast, families and superfans, including actress Tamera Mowry, came to the rescue, singing the Lucky Charms melody to bring back the magic.

Now You Can Stream Walt Disney World’s Fireworks Show

Walt Disney World temporarily closed their doors back in March. That doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy your own fairy tale ending. Walt Disney World is now streaming a replay of “Happily Ever After,” the nighttime spectacular from Magic Kingdom Park, which aired on the Disney Parks blog last week.

“For this special pre-recorded viewing of ‘Happily Ever After’ at Magic Kingdom Park, you have the best seat in the house,” Disney Parks said on its website. “Watch as the castle you know so well becomes a canvas for the heart-tugging story of the importance of chasing your dreams, no matter what, and finding your happily ever after.”

“Fill the skies above your home with some pixie dust. With some modern-day magic we are taking you to the best seat in the house, right in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort.” Disney Parks said on their YouTube page. “Watch as the castle you know, becomes a canvas for the stories of some of your favorite characters. And just like our characters’ stories, things will turn out to be happily ever after!”

“Artemis Fowl” Is Available Today Exclusively on Disney+

Since theaters are closed many films are becoming available online quicker that originally expected. Disney will premiere it’s new live action film Artemis Fowl exclusively on Disney+ beginning Fri., Jun. 12. It had originally been set for a May 29 theatrical debut.

Based on the best-selling young adult book by Eoin Colfer, Artemis Fowl delivers a big cinema-sized experience for audiences of all ages to experience for the first time on Disney+ in the comfort of their homes. From director Kenneth Branagh, it is a fantastical epic adventure, resplendent with beautiful landscapes and spectacular visual effects that will transport viewers to magical new worlds. Artemis Fowl stars newcomer Ferdia Shaw in the title role alongside Lara McDonnell, Josh Gad, Tamara Smart, Nonso Anozie, Josh McGuire, Nikesh Patel and Adrian Scarborough, with Colin Farrell and Judi Dench.

Branagh said, “Artemis Fowl is a true original. In challenging times, a twelve year old criminal mastermind is one heck of a travelling companion. Smart, funny, and cool as mustard, he’ll take you to new worlds, meet unforgettable characters, and mix magic with mayhem. His own family is everything to him, and (although he’d never admit it), he’d be as proud as I am that families around the world will now be able to enjoy his first amazing screen adventures together, on Disney +.”

Tickets to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Are Now on Sale

It’s only February but at Disney World plans are already in full swing for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Magic Kingdom has just announced the dates for this year’s spook-tacular event—and you can already purchase tickets!

Returning Halloween favorites include Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade, “Not So Spooky Spectacular” (a magical fireworks extravaganza hosted by Jack Skellington) and sweet treats—including allergy-free options—for young trick-or-treaters around the park.

Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party

Head to Tomorrowland Terrace and get your fill of sweets and drinks that include ice cream, cupcakes, chocolate-dipped strawberries, fruit and cheese. Beverage likes such as signature lemonades, coffee, tea and hot chocolate will also available. This event is only available on select nights and include fees starting at $59.

Light Up the Night

The Mad Tea Party will feature Halloween-themed lighting and effects.

A Little Mischief & Magic

Fans can visit with a few of their favorite Disney villain friends at the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage.

Guests at the Happiest Place on Earth are in for a brand new extravaganza in the new year. Disneyland’s “Magic Happens” parade is set to debut in February.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the “Magic Happens” parade “celebrates awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories.” The daytime event, which will feature an energetic score, will wind its way down the Main Street U.S.A. route with Mickey Mouse at the lead.

Joining Mickey are some very popular Disney characters, like Frozen 2‘s Elsa and Anna. The cast of Pixar’s Coco is also along for the ride, bringing a float covered in vibrant marigolds.

Moana is also setting sail for the parade aboard her ship, the Voyager. Maui and Pua will accompany her along the way. Closing out the spectacular parade are some memorable moments from Disney classics, like the happily-ever-after scene from Sleeping Beauty.

The “Magic Happens” parade will debut at Disneyland on Feb. 28, 2020.

For the first time ever Pepperidge Farm has teamed up with the Radio City Rockettes to create a new holiday cookie inspired by the iconic Christmas Spectacular. The new Toy Soldier cookie will have you kicking up your own feet with joy.

The new shortbread cookie features the shape of a toy soldier spiced with cinnamon and brown sugar. The cookie design is based on the Rockettes’ classic “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” number.

The new cookie joins Pepperidge Farm’s collection of holiday cookies making their return for the season all dressed up in a winter wonderland-inspired package.
