Even though you have to wait until Christmas-time to catch Greta Gerwig’s full version of the iconic Little Women, you can sneak a peak of the film right now.

The newly released trailer sets the stage and now you can see how Gerwig, along with stars Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, Emma Watson, Laura Dern and Meryl Streep, make the Louisa May Alcott novel come to life.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gerwig said of Ronan and Chalamet, “I just adore them. They are just spectacular as live actors, and there is some true pairing between them that feels like it’s in the tradition of great cinematic pairing.” The director went on to add, “I don’t know what they do—I mean, it’s magic. I direct them, but it’s all there.”

If you’re a fan of the book, the stars or just can’t wait to see the “magic,” Little Women hits theaters nationwide Dec. 25.

Grab your wands and get ready to cast a spell against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle, the spectacular new show at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. But you’ll have to act fast, because the magic only lasts for a limited time.

The all-new show rolling out at both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood is a one-of-kind light projection that will cover Hogwarts in magical creatures like Aragog, Death Eaters and even He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. The only thing that can cast the darkness away is a Patronus spell.

The new show is in the vein of previous light shows at the Wizarding World, like The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle and The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, with music, special effects and images wrapped across the iconic Hogwarts Castle at the heart of the park—but this time with a decidedly darker tone.

If you want to catch this new show, don’t wait. It will only run for a few weeks, with shows scheduled for Apr. 13 through 28 and May 25 through 27 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Dates at Universal Orlando will be announced later this year.

If you missed the Super Blood Moon lunar eclipse last month, you’ve got another chance at spectacular lunar show. Direct your young stargazers to look up at the skies for the biggest supermoon of the year.

On Tues. Feb 19, the moon will be closer to the earth than at any other day of the year, which means it’ll appear as if someone has lassoed the moon and pulled it in close just for you. If you’re lucky enough to have a cloudless sky on Tuesday night, the supermoon—dubbed the Super Snow Moon—will be full and massive as it will be just a mere 221,681 miles from Earth.

Although the exact full moon will occur during the morning of Feb. 19 at 10:53 a.m. Eastern (7:53 a.m. Pacific), the odd timing actually gives viewers a few opportunities to spot the supermoon in the sky. The first opportunity to see the Super Snow Moon will be near sunset on Monday, Feb. 18 when the moon to rises in the east at 4:30 p.m. Eastern (4:49 p.m. Pacific).

If you miss that sight you’ll have two more chances to see the supermoon. First at sunrise on the morning of Feb. 19 when the moon sets in the west at 6:55 a.m. Eastern (06:46 a.m. Pacific) and finally at sunset again when it rises in the east at 5:46 p.m. Eastern 6:02 p.m. Pacific).

Happy moongazing!

Finding out if you’re having a boy or a girl can be an exciting moment for expectant parents, but sometimes things don’t turn out the way you had hoped. This parents gender reveal gone wrong literally went up in smoke.

Kayla and Kyle Hayes decided to reveal the gender of their baby to their families, and themselves, with the aid of a colored smoke bomb. The bomb was meant to give off either pink or blue smoke depending on the gender of the baby, but much to everyone’s surprise they got both.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BhSYNt3leSm/

No, they’re not expecting twins, though that certainly would have been a spectacular reveal. Instead the smoke bomb gone wronged simply deployed incorrectly sending out a very confusing message and setting off a rollercoaster of emotions for the parents to be.

Judging by their elated reactions to both colors, the couple is clearly happy to become parents no matter what, despite the confusion.

Are you a Disney cruise fan? If so, get ready for some pretty awesome additions. Over the next few years, Disney’s magical fleet is getting some extra company.

Between 2021 and 2023, Disney Cruise Line plans on adding three new ships to its fleet. With the growing popularity of family cruises, taking a trip with Disney goes above and beyond what most kiddos could even dream of.

Photo: Courtesy of Disney Cruise Line

While specifics about each of the new ships haven’t yet been released, Disney Cruise Lines did announce that each ship will weigh in at approximately 140,000 gross tons and hold about 1,250 guest staterooms. According to a press release, “The new vessels will offer more innovation, new technologies, spectacular entertainment and more Disney stories and characters than ever before.”

As of now Disney hasn’t provided information on the names of the ships or the areas they’ll service. Look for the first new ship to start charting a course through the high seas in 2021. The second will debut the following year, in 2022. The third addition will become part of Disney’s regular fleet in 2023.

Universal Studios Is Hiring for 2,500 Jobs (Awesome Perks Included!)

Standing at 605 feet tall, the Space Needle has always been a spectacular sight for both visitors and Seattleites alike, but with its latest $100 million renovation, it looks better than ever! Sure, the Needle has been around since 1962 and you’re probably thinking ,”been there, done that,” but wait until you see what they’ve done with the place and the view. A whole new experience awaits you, and we have all the deets you need to know plus more on the epic climb to the top of the Needle with Base 2 Space. Read on!

photo: Suraj Joshee via Space Needle Facebook page

Arriving at Atmos
The top of the Needle is now referred to as Atmos and includes three levels: the 500-foot observation level (with the world’s first revolving glass floor), the 510-foot Ring Level (with less spectacular but still important new restrooms) and the 520-foot observation level (with both indoor and outdoor open-air viewing). Connecting all three is a new grand staircase. The Oculus Stairs are two half-moon shaped staircases built from steel, wood and glass. At the base of the stairs sits the Oculus, a 19 foot by 11 foot glass floor that gives a unique view of the elevators and counterweights.

Skyrising Selfies
On the 520-foot level you’ll immediately notice one of the biggest changes to the Needle. Gone is the metal security “cage” that used to surround the Observation Deck. It has been replaced with open-air glass walls providing uninhibited 360-degree views. All around the deck you’ll find 24 glass “Skyriser” benches that lean back away from the needle. If you dare, take a seat, lean back and imagine what it would be like to be floating high above the ground (selfies are encouraged from this unique angle!). Inside the indoor observation level, you’ll find the Atmos Café offering beverages and light bites.

photo: Marcy Grantor

Around the Loupe
Located on the 500 foot level is “The Loupe” which is the world’s first and only revolving glass floor giving you amazing downward views of Seattle while also revealing the mechanics of what makes the rotating floor turn. The Loupe makes a full rotation every 45 minutes, and while two-thirds of the floor actually turns, the center third of the floor stays still. While little ones might not want to look down, you can relax knowing that the 37-ton glass floor is made from 10 layers (yep, you read that right!) of structural glass. And if that isn’t enough to settle your nerves, you will be happy to know that the Atmos Wine Bar can be found on this too. Well played, Space Needle!

Other Features to Make Note Of
The new Space Needle comes with a few extra special touches to make your experience all the more memorable without any extra fees. These include:

1 Multiple professional digital photos including the Skyhigh Selfie and the Zoomie.

2. An interactive area that includes a digital globe and a wall of memories featuring photos through the years.

3. The Stratos Virtual Reality experience where you can feel what it would be like to bungee jump off the Needle!

Be Sure to Exit Through the Gift Shop
Though you don’t have to, your visit to the Space Needle wouldn’t be complete without stopping at the Spacebase Gift Shop. Not only will you find Needle-themed souvenirs, but you’ll also find apparel, drinkware, food items, jewelry, toys, books and more. If you need a Seattle-themed gift or unique kid’s birthday present, the Spacebase Gift Shop has you covered.

Climb to the Top of the Needle with Base 2 Space
During the month of September, guests can climb the 832 stairs up one of two intertwining, open-air stairwells. Why? To support the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the Space Needle Foundation. The best part? One hundred percent of the donations benefit the two organizations with close to one million dollars in funds raised annually. Keep an eye on their website for 2019 climb dates!

Looking to hit the open seas with the family? Make it a magical voyage with a trip aboard a Disney cruise ship. Disney Cruise Line’s 2019 itinerary lineup has been released and there are some spectacular destinations departing from both coasts.

Disney Cruise Line has just revealed its destinations and itineraries for the Fall 2019 season. Cruises begin setting sail in September and run throughout January 2020. The itineraries include ships leaving port from Florida and Texas to the islands of the Caribbean and the Bahamas, both of which give guests a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Further north along the east coast, are cruises from New York to Bermuda and the Canadian coast.

On the other side of the map, travelers have several options to set sail from the west coast as well. Trips headed south from California will take you to Baja and the Mexican Riviera, or you can start further north in Vancouver and work your way down along the Pacific coastline to sunny San Diego. You can also experience something really unique with a 2-week journey from California to Texas that crosses the Panama Canal.

If you’re looking to get a little further away, Disney Cruise Line is also offering a ten-night transatlantic cruise that departs from Dover, England on September 15 and lands in New York.

A Disney Cruise vacation is unlike any other cruise with amenities like character experiences, kids clubs, Disney-themed live shows and special events, like Star Wars Day at Sea, Pirate Night and Halloween on the High Seas.

Once again shutting down critics and proving (what all moms know) that women can indeed do it all, Cardi B performed at Coachella while pregnant and it was as epic as you’d imagine.

After revealing her much speculated pregnancy on Saturday Night Live, Cardi B faced some tough critics that claimed her choice to have a baby and a debut album at the same time would spell doom for the rap artist’s budding career. Nevertheless, Cardi B persisted and is proving those naysayers completely wrong. At this weekend’s Coachella festival, the mom-to-be continued to be walking proof that women can indeed have a career and a baby at the same time.

https://twitter.com/ByeAshy/status/985711920903872512

Fans on Twitter reacted accordingly to Cardi B’s spectacular performance of a medley of her hit songs along with a few featured guests. It was the rapper’s dance moves that had fans talking, however.

She didn’t let her baby bump keep her from twerking and dropping it low (not to mention getting back up again, no easy feat when you’re pregnant). She even joked, “That’s how I got pregnant ya’ll.”

Did you work though your pregnancy? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
