The Royal Baby Is Here—But Fans Will Have to Wait for the Name

Trending Now

Congratulations are in order as the Royal Baby Watch has finally come to an end: the Royal Baby was born Monday at London’s St. Mary’s Hospital. It’s another boy for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte is officially a big sister now.

A bulletin was placed outside Buckingham Palace after Duchess Catherine of Cambridge (known to us commoners as Kate Middleton) announcing the Royal Baby’s arrival. Prince William was present at the birth of his second son, who arrived at 11:01 BST and weighing 8lb 7oz. “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” the bulletin read.

Fans of the Royal Family are dying to know what the Royal Baby’s name will be. Looks like we’re all going to have to wait. So far, the only official word from both Buckingham and Kensington Palaces is that his newest Royal Highness has arrived—but Queen Mum’s the word on his name. According to the BBC, top baby name contenders for Roya Baby number 3 include Arthur, Albert or James.

What do you think William and Kate will name their baby? (My money’s on Philip.) Share your guesses in the comments.
