This Is the Most Beautiful Harry Potter Book You Will Ever Own

If there’s a Harry Potter fan in your family, chances are you own a collection of dog-eared, well-worn books, but this latest addition to the Wizarding World library is almost too beautiful to read. (Almost.) Make room on your bookshelf for this gorgeous new illustrated edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard.

For the uninitiated, The Tales of Beedle the Bard are comprised of five different folklore-style stories. Think of them like the Brothers’ Grimm fairytales of the Wizarding World. This latest edition of the previously published book features beautiful illustrations by Hans Christian Andersen Medalist and artist Lisbeth Zwerger.

The artwork, that appears like an old illuminated text, pairs perfectly with the five stories of adventure and magic as translated from the ancient runes by the one and only Hermione Granger. Seriously, just look at these stunning illustrations that fan site Pottermore shared on Instagram.

First up: “The Tale of the Three Brothers” (a.k.a., the origin story for the Deathly Hallows).

A positively stately and yet still mysterious Albus Dumbledore.

We are loving the spooky vibe from Zwerger’s illustrations!

As if you needed any excuse to add this book to your collection, 15 percent of the proceeds from each copy will be donated to Lumos, an international nonprofit organization founded by J.K. Rowling working to end the institutionalization of children.

You can pick up a copy of the newly published The Tales of Beedle the Bard: The Illustrated Edition for $34.99, on Amazon.
