If your little star likes to sound off, tune into one of these Atlanta-area music classes so your babe doesn’t miss a beat. They’ll pump up your peanut’s playlist for a song and foster a lifelong love of music.

The Music Class
Developed by Atlantan Rob Sayer, The Music Class now has over 1700 students in metro-Atlanta and over 190 teaching centers world wide.There are thirteen locations in the metro area. Their “Music Pup” program offers wee ones (infant to age 4) a variety of sounds and activities to enrich their musical development, while “Music Cats” is geared toward ages 4-5. “Sound Habits” offers a keyboard learning program for ages 5 to 7 years to help prep for piano lessons down the line.

Music Together
Ms. Jennifer’s Music Together class is a Buckhead baby rite of passage. Based on the belief that all children are musical and that music ability is as much a basic life skill as walking and talking, the curriculum teaches babes birth to five years how to sing in tune, keep a beat, and dance. Teaching tots for over 15 years, Ms. Jennifer now offers classes at both The Music Studio and Play2Grow.

Little Wing Atlanta
Little Wing is über-cool music school School of Rock’s answer to early childhood music education. Engaging tots (ages 4-5) with tunes that are classics from the likes of The Rolling Stones and Bob Marley, each student is given a “gig bag” containing instruments which they will play at “band” practice. Through musical activities and play, each child is encouraged to reach developmental milestones and foster a love of music that will last a lifetime.
