Rob Mueller – Co-Owner of The Rock House

Rob got his musical start practicing on an over-the-top '80s drum set, but now this Rogers Park dad is a recording artist and businessman. As the other half of The Rock House music school and coffeehouse, Rob encourages students to focus on the spirit of music, as much as the technicality. Since meeting Chris Karabas 12 years ago and starting The Lucky Jackson Band, they have progressed from band mates to a business partners, and now have more than 300 students. There is no separation between music and family since Rob’s two children, Gunnar Vaughn (5) and Sharaden Liv (3), have always loved hanging out at The Rock House and watching their dad kick out the jams. They have even developed keen ears to recognize "everything from Pit Bull to Elvis.”
