TGIF: Weekend Classes for Kids in Seattle

There’s a reason we all look forward to the weekends – from the minute the alarm on our iPhones go off Monday morning to the minute we lay our heads on the pillow Friday night (hopefully after sending the babysitter home after a date night!), the weekdays are insane. Work, chores, school commitments, play dates, soccer practice, dance recitals, dishes, meal planning, grocery shopping… do you need us to go on? Here’s a tip to lighten up the weekday grind – move one of your kiddos’ beloved classes to the weekend! You may actually be relaxed enough to watch them nail first position in dance class or score their first soccer goal and your kids will love you for it.

All That Dance
Weekend Classes: Offering dance classes for every age dancer throughout the day on Saturdays, All That Dance, is always a favorite for Seattle families! It is the perfect place to introduce your tiniest dancer to classes (Saturday parent involvement classes begin at age 18-months) or sign up your older child who has already caught the dancing bug. Weekend Classes: Who doesn’t love a little weekend soccer session? And the good news is, no standing out in the wind and rain on a Saturday morning for these classes! Arena Sports has multiple locations around Seattle and the Eastside and all offer a variety of indoor soccer classes for kids of all ages, including parent involvement classes, beginning at age 18-months.

Great Play
Weekend Classes: Families on the Eastside and the Kenmore area, get ready for some serious Saturday fun! Great Play, with two great locations, offers Saturday classes for children beginning at 11-months old. What we love most about Great Play classes is that they build confidence in kids – even the littlest ones – by gradually allowing them to reach past their physical limits, all with parent or instructor support close at hand.
