Simran and Stacie – A Little Yumminess

Produce Pick: Tomatoes

Simran and Stacie met at a local school gardening non-profit and immediately bonded over their love of farmers markets. They started A Little Yumminess to share globally-inspired recipes and tips for raising adventurous eaters. And the rest is foodie history. The Bay Area moms shared with us, "We love tomato season and often head to the local markets in summer and early fall for great deals on amazing tomatoes from local farms. We love the colors, the freshness and the taste of late summer tomatoes. We come home and transform them into tomatoes, burrata and basil salads, fresh pasta sauces, and often this delicious roasted tomato soup."

Check out the fresh tomato pasta recipe here and then hop over to Alittleyum.com for more seasonal recipe picks.

What’s your favorite farmers market find? And, do you have a great recipe that goes along with your seasonal produce pick?
