You know how there are New Yorkers who have never been to the top of the Empire State Building?  Don’t raise the L.A. version of that kid!  With so much to do here, and traffic being, well, LA traffic, it’s easy to miss a few “gottas.”  So, check our bucket list of the 10 things all kids growing up in Los Angeles should experience, and see what you can cross off — and where you should be heading this weekend.

See A Concert at the Bowl

Built in 1922, this outdoor amphitheater is one of the best places in the country to see a show. Start your visit at the Hollywood Bowl Museum, where you can take a trip through time and learn all about the history of the Bowl – everyone from the Beatles to F.D.R. to Judy Garland to the Doors has graced the stage. If your kids aren’t quite up to the evening picnic and a show schedule, you can always bring them to a SummerSounds show (world music concerts for kids that take place every summer), to visit the museum, or to the free open rehearsals that take place during the day of a performance.
