You know how there are New Yorkers who have never been to the top of the Empire State Building?  Don’t raise the L.A. version of that kid!  With so much to do here, and traffic being, well, LA traffic, it’s easy to miss a few “gottas.”  So, check our bucket list of the 10 things all kids growing up in Los Angeles should experience, and see what you can cross off — and where you should be heading this weekend.

Walk the Walk of Stars

Packed with tourists, cheesy, silly – why would we recommend this? It’s also quintessential Hollywood, and incidentally, plenty of fun. Whether you just stroll the walk and look for names you recognize or make a pilgrimage to a family favorite star (like John Lennon or Mickey Mouse), the Walk of Fame is a Hollywood must. While you’re here, swing by the hand and footprints at the Chinese Theater, and catch a Disney flick at the El Capitan, for a full day of Hollywood movie magic.

The Walk runs East-West along both sides of Hollywood Blvd, between Gower St and La Brea Ave. It also runs North-South along both sides of Vine Street, between Yucca St and Sunset Blvd.
