Keke Palmer’s first baby is here—and so are some adorable pictures and a name announcement!

Congratulations to Keke Palmer and her family! The 29-year-old Nope actor is officially a mom—she just gave birth to her first baby with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson.

Palmer announced the big news in an Instagram post, where she also revealed the baby’s name.

“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match 😄!” she wrote. “LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo.”

The photos included on the slides give fans a sneak peek into Palmer’s parenting journey so far. The first photo, which she says was taken 48 hours into becoming parents, shows her and Jackson looking juuust a little tired. There’s a video of the family in the hospital, with Jackson holding and rocking baby Leo while Palmer rests. And there are several very sweet photos of Leo, who is just as perfect as any newborn should be.

Palmer and Jackson have been together since shortly after they met in 2021. While they mostly keep their family life private, Palmer shocked fans when she made a surprise announcement about her pregnancy while hosting Saturday Night Live in December of 2022.

“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,'” she said during her opening monologue on the show. “I wanna set the record straight—I am!”

While the crowd cheered, she then pulled back her jacket to reveal her baby bump. Iconic, honestly.

While we’re sure that Palmer will share more Leo updates soon, we’re also sure she’s soaking in every moment with her new little family, and we love that for her. Congrats to Keke and Darius!

Ryan Reynolds is keeping his family private, thank you very much

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds fiercely defend their family’s privacy—and it’s a thing to behold. The couple apparently ushered in their fourth child without any media outlets getting wind of it. And this from two of the most famous people in Hollywood, who happen to be married to each other. Good. For. Them!

On a segment with CNBC’s Power Lunch this week, one of the show’s hosts tried desperately to get Reynolds to spill some info on he and Lively’s newest addition. It didn’t work. At all. You can see the interaction around minute seven.

“Ryan, I want to play my fellow mom of four card over here. I want to know,” host Kelly Evans asked. “Boy or girl?”

“I ain’t telling.” Reynolds responded. “This ain’t a birth announcement.” He further clarified, “We didn’t make a birth announcement. We just posted a photo and the media did what it does after that.

“Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it.”

Earlier in the week, Blake shared a carousel of images from her family’s Puppy Bowl Sunday festivities. It was food, food, food, and oh, look! A picture of Blake visibly missing that baby bump that so recently was making news.

She captioned the photo, “Been busy,” which is clearly a cheeky way of saying, HA! We had our baby in the precious privacy we deserved!

Lively and Reynolds are famously and admirably protective of their children’s privacy, and they’ve both been vocal critics of the paparazzi and the media outlets who purchase their pictures. In fact, after Lively announced this pregnancy, she took to Instagram with a carousel of pictures of her baby bump to make the images the relentless paparazzi was trying to get worth less.

“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone,” she wrote. “You freak me and my kids out. Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children.”

The couple share daughters, James, seven, Inez, six, and Betty, three. They’ve never shared birth announcements and have always waited an extended period of time to even share their names. Any photos they share that happen to have kids in them always obscure their faces.

They have yet to officially confirm baby number four’s birth.

Blake Lively’s Instagram post will be relatable to anyone who’s ever worked out while pregnant

The more things change, the more one thing stays the same: Blake Lively cracking us up whenever she posts something on social media. The 35-year-old actress is currently very pregnant with her fourth child with husband Ryan Reynolds, and on Instagram, she offered a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse of her ever-growing baby bump—and some of the struggles she’s facing during this pregnancy.

Namely, working out. In the post, Lively shared some side-by-side pics of her hitting the gym, looking incredible as usual in a pair of leggings and a sports bra, with her trainer, Don Saladino. She’s not pregnant in the photo on the left, but the photo on the right was clearly taken recently, because that belly is poppin’.

“Been doing @donsaladino ‘s workout program for months now,” Lively wrote in the caption for the side-by-side shots. “Something’s not working.”

Oh, and in case that didn’t already make you snort into your morning coffee, she also tagged Reynolds right in the middle of her bump, because of course she did.

Lively and Reynolds continue to be absolute couple goals and some of our favorite celeb parents. They constantly keep things real on their social media, where they share snapshots and stories of raising their kids, and relentlessly and hilariously troll one another. Just recently, they took a family outing to the Polar Express, where Reynolds posted about his lifelong dream of meeting Mrs. Claus.

“She was everything I’d always dreamed since I was a kid. She smelled like cinnamon buns and sangria,” he wrote. There was just one problem, which Reynolds revealed later on his Instagram stories.

“I cropped my wife’s shoes out in the photo I posted,” he wrote. “It’s inexcusable and I’m sorry to anyone I’ve hurt with this callous lack of fortitude. Heading to the hospital to have my brain weighed.”

Ten years of marriage and these two are still showing us how it’s done. Here’s hoping they continue to never change.

Run, don’t walk, to see Blake Lively’s adorable baby bump in Christmas pajamas in the new pic Ryan Reynolds just shared

As much as we love Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively and want to obsessively follow every moment their adorable family experiences, they’re a notoriously private couple. In fact, it’s rare that we see them at all outside of public appearances to promote their work—and when it comes to their family, well, the couple has been known for not making public pregnancy or birth announcements, keeping names under wraps, and keeping their kids off social media almost entirely. And power to them! They deserve their privacy—for themselves and for their kids.

But that’s why it’s such a joy when they do give us an inside peek at their lives together, like Ryan Reynolds just did on Instagram. He shared the sweetest photo of himself, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a very pregnant Lively decked out in some adorable Christmas jammies.

Even though the photo is objectively perfect, Reynolds obviously couldn’t resist trolling his wife, just a little bit.

“We met Jessica Claus and her husband on the Polar Express,” he wrote. “She was everything I’d always dreamed since I was a kid. She smelled like cinnamon buns and sangria.”

Funny, that’s what we imagine Lively is like.

While they weren’t included in the public photo, we imagine that Reynolds and Lively visited the Polar Express with their three daughters—seven-year-old James, six-year-old Inez, and three-year-old Betty—in tow. Lively is currently expecting baby number four for the couple, and Reynolds has opened up previously about how they don’t know if they’re expecting their first boy, or another daughter.

“I don’t know. We never find out til (the baby is born),” he said during an appearance on the Today show last month. “I know girls so I’m sort of kind of hoping that, but I’m ready for whatever happens.”

From Unexpected to Away We Go, parents-to-be can find everything from good laughs to relatable moments in these pregnancy movies

Whether it’s your first or your fourth baby, when there’s a bun in the oven, those nine months of pregnancy feel like the longest of your life. And while we can’t book you a hotel room or an all-inclusive vacay for that well-deserved break, we CAN supply you with plenty of entertainment options perfect for an evening of kicking back on the couch. If you’re done binge-watching all the very best shows out there right now, might we suggest some fun pregnancy movies? These films feature expectant characters dealing with surprise pregnancies, fertility problems, relationship issues, family drama, and more—and the good news is, there’s always a happy ending (ahem, hormones!).

What to Expect When You’re Expecting

This 2012 pregnancy movie features an incredible cast including Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Banks, and many more. The movie introduces us to five different couples, all either hoping for or expecting a child, and handling it in very different and often hilarious ways. There’s the one-night stand baby, the IVF miracle, and a pregnancy where the meticulously crafted birth plan goes very much awry.

Why We Love It: Besides the amazing cast, one of the best things about What to Expect is that it shows the many different paths to parenting. The couples deal with everything from fertility struggles to miscarriage to adoption, just like real moms and dads everywhere.

Baby Mama

©Universal Pictures

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are a comedy dream team, and nowhere is that more evident than in the ridiculously funny Baby Mama. Fey plays a successful career woman who, when she decides she’s ready for a baby, enlists the help of a surrogate. She ends up with even more than she bargained for when the surrogate shows up on her doorstep, homeless and broke. Oh, and the surrogate may or may not be a con woman. Greg Kinnear and Dax Shepard also co-star.

Why We Love It: Two of the funniest women ever teaming up for a sweet and funny rom-com? What’s not to love?

Knocked Up

TV reporter Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) is moving up the ladder in her demanding career until a one-night stand with slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) throws a wrench into her plans. The two decide to give their relationship a shot after Alison finds out she’s pregnant, but their wildly different lifestyle create tons of problems (and lots of laughs). Can Ben grow up in time to help raise a kid?

Why We Love It: Writer/director Judd Apatow’s brand of edgy stoner comedy mixes surprisingly well with a sweet pregnancy story, making this pregnancy movie laugh-til-it-hurts funny.

Away We Go

Away We Go is one of the best pregnancy movies
©Focus Features

This cute comedy stars Saturday Night Live’s Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski, AKA Jim from The Office, as an expecting couple on a quest to find the perfect place to raise their baby. The two travel all over the country testing out new locations and introducing us to a slew of flaky family members along the way. Schitt’s Creek’s Catherine O’Hara has a funny turn as a disinterested grandma, and Maggie Gyllenhaal also gets laughs as an uber-pretentious cousin.

Why We Love It: Rudolph and Krasinki are an adorable pairing as mom-and-dad-to-be Verona and Burt, and their mission to figure out where to live reminds us all that home is where the heart is.

The Back-Up Plan

First comes baby, then comes love in The Back Up Plan. Jennifer Lopez stars as a pet shop owner who decides to become a mother with the help of artificial insemination and a single mother’s support group for guidance. But things get a bit complicated when she meets her dream guy (played by Hawaii Five-0’s Alex O’Loughlin) who’s not at all ready for fatherhood.

Why We Love It: J. Lo is the undisputed queen of the rom-com, and this flick is just one more piece of proof. It shows us that timing isn’t always everything, but love truly does conquer all.

Waitress

Get your tissues ready for this 2007 hit. Pregnancy hormones or not, this one’s a tearjerker. Keri Russell stars as a waitress at a Deep South diner who’s got a knack for whipping up some amazing pies. When she finds out she’s pregnant, she begins hatching a plan to escape her abusive, loveless marriage. But things get even more complicated when she begins an affair with her long-time OB-GYN, who just happens to be married.

Why We Love It: Sure, there’s a lot of drama, but in the end, Waitress is as sweet as pie.

Unexpected

When a high school teacher finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, so too does one of her best and brightest students. The two moms-to-be strike up an emotional connection, bonding over everything from pregnancy yoga to food cravings—all while helping each other figure out their uncertain futures. How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders stars and that baby bump you see? It’s real! The actress was reportedly pregnant in real life while filming.

Why We Love It: Unexpected reminds us that pregnancy can be challenging in so many different ways, no matter your age, marital status, or financial situation. Smulders’s co-star Gail Bean also gives us a powerful performance as the pregnant high-school senior grappling with how to fit a baby into the life she’d imagined for herself.

Babies

A French film crew traveled the globe to document four different babies and their families in the first year after birth. There’s Ponijao, born in Namibia; Mari, living in Tokyo; Hattie, from San Francisco; and Bayarjargal, living in Mongolia. There’s no narration and very little dialogue, giving viewers an unadulterated look at different cultures and customs when it comes to bringing up babies (though these four are all happy teenagers now, according to the filmmaker).

Why We Love It: Besides the cute factor, which is absolutely through the roof, this thought-provoking documentary makes you look at babies in a whole new light.

Riding in Cars with Boys

©Sony Pictures

Based on the memoir of the same name by author Beverly Donofrio, this movie introduces us to Bev at 11 years old in 1961, when boys are already starting to catch her attention—much to the dismay of her police officer father. The story follows her throughout the years as a pregnant teen, a young bride, and eventually a wife dissatisfied with the course her life has taken. There are some heavy moments, but a lot of light-hearted ones, too, and through it all, Bev’s best friend Fay (played by the late Brittany Murphy) is by her side.

Why We Love It: The always lovable Drew Barrymore lights up the screen while exploring the sacrifices mothers make—and how becoming a parent yourself can make you rethink your relationship with your own.

Father of the Bride Part II

©Buena Vista Pictures

Doting dad George Banks (played to comedic perfection by Steve Martin) finds out he's going to be a grandpa in this sequel film—and he hilariously insists he's much too young for the title. As he grapples with his little girl becoming a mother, Banks then gets a massive surprise of his own. Not only is Annie expecting, but his wife Nina is, too.

Why We Love It: Father of the Bride Part II is one of the few movies where get to see an older mom celebrating a pregnancy. Martin Short also returns as scene stealer Franck, who's going to plan the baby showers instead of a wedding.

Juno

Elliot Page and Michael Cera star in this sweet coming-of-age tale about Minnesota high schoolers dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. When Juno decides not to go through with an abortion, she turns to adoption instead. She finds a seemingly perfect couple to raise the baby—but things get complicated the more time Juno spends with the not-so-happily married pair played by Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner.

Why We Love It: Juno tackles emotional topics with quirky charm and lots of emotion. It also features a killer soundtrack with songs from The Velvet Underground, The Kinks, Buddy Holly, and more.

The Flight Attendant actress shared the pregnancy news on Instagram

Kaley Cuoco is going to be a mom! The 36-year-old has announced she and boyfriend Tom Pelphrey are expecting their first child together.

“💕Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023💕 beyond blessed and over the moon… I 💓you @tommypelphrey !!!” reads the Instagram post. The former Big Bang Theory actress also gave away more than just a glimpse into the couple’s excitement, but revealed a baby girl will be joining their family.

The actress shared photos showing a cake with pink frosting, Pelphrey holding a baby onesie, the two kissing holding “papa bear” and “mama bear” mugs, a polaroid of Cuoco’s baby bump, and a slew of images showing positive pregnancy tests. It’s easy to say the duo both look elated.

Tom Pelphrey, of Ozark fame, also shared the happy news on his own Instagram account. “And then it was even MORE BETTER. 🎀🎀🎀. Love you more than ever @kaleycuoco ♥️🙏♥️”

Cuoco and Pelphrey first met at the Ozark premiere back in April. The became official in May and since then haven’t shied from sharing their love for each other on social media.

Now that the cat’s out of the bag (or rather, we know there’s a bun in the oven?), Cuoco is emptying her photo drafts like crazy to her Instagram Stories. Apparently, the mama-to-be experienced a fair amount of morning sickness and exhaustion, judging by the snap shots of her sneaking in naps in between film takes for her upcoming action film, Role Play.

Neither Cuoco or Pelphrey have revealed the big day––aka, due date––for when baby is expected. However, judging by the many posts since the announcement just yesterday, we’re guessing we’ll get to go along for the ride for months to come.

It’s no surprise you’ve been doing some serious daydreaming about who, exactly, is in there. Before you dive into full-on baby shower planning mode, have some fun trying these at-home baby prediction tests to find out how to tell the gender of your baby. Can a wacky at-home prediction test tell you if you are having a boy or a girl? Well, you’ll have to try these tests to find out. 1.  Carrying high? That's supposed to mean you'll have a girl, while a low rider means boy.

2. If your skin has that pregnancy glow, chances are you're having a boy, according to one old wives' tale. If you're breaking out, get ready for a girl.

3. Look at your breasts in the mirror. If your right breast is larger than your left, you're having a girl. If your left breast looks larger, it's a boy.

4. Consult a Chinese gender chart, which uses your age and the month you conceived to determine how to tell the gender of your baby.

5. Energetic fetuses are thought to be boys, while chill babes in utero are predicted to be girls.

6. Pee in a cup (you should be a pro at this by now after all those doctor's visits), and then mix in 1 tablespoon of Drano drain cleaner. If the color turns green, you'll have a girl. Blue means it's a boy. (Be careful with this one. Drano can be toxic, so wear gloves and a mask or have someone else do this experiment for you.)

7. At your next prenatal checkup, check out baby's head on the ultrasound. If it's square-shaped, then you're having a boy. If you see a rounder head, it's a girl.

8. Tie a ring on the end of a piece of string. Sit down and have someone hold the string over your belly. If the ring swings in a circle, you're having a girl. If it swings back and forth, it's a boy.

9. That dark line that runs from your pubic bone straight up the center of your belly (known as the linea nigra) is said to indicate baby's sex. If the line stops at your belly button, you're having a girl. If the line continues up to your ribs and chest, it's a boy.

10. The faster baby's heart rate is, the more likely you're having a girl. The slower the heart rate (below 140 beats per minute), the more likely you're having a boy.

11. If the skin on your hands is dry and chapped during pregnancy, you're more likely to be carrying a boy. Smooth skin means it'll be a girl.

12. If you're craving salty foods, then you're pregnant with a boy. Are you jonesin' for something sweet? Then it's a girl you're carrying.

iStock

13. Since you have to pee all the time anyway, pee in a cup one more time. Then drop in some baking soda. If it fizzes, then it's a boy; if it doesn't, it's a girl.

14. Here's another pee test: Boil a head of red cabbage in some water. Save the red cabbage water and mix it in a cup with your urine. If the water turns pink, it means a girl is on its way. If the water is purple, you're having a boy.

15. Next time you wake up in the morning (or from one of those much-needed pregnancy naps), check which side of your body you're sleeping on. Left side indicates boy, while right means girl.

16. This one is similar to the Chinese chart above. The Mayans take the mama's age at conception and add it to the year baby was conceived. If it's an odd number, the baby is a boy. Even means it's a girl.

17. If your morning sickness lasts beyond the first trimester, some people think you're carrying a girl. If your sickness subsides or you didn't have any to begin with (lucky you!), then it's a boy.

18. If your baby bump looks like a basketball, it could be you're having a boy. If your baby bump is more spread out across your waistline, then it's a girl.

While planning for your new arrival, there’s no better time to download the Tinybeans app. The secure platform allows you to share special moments with friends and family near and far and puts parents in total control of who sees and interacts with photos and videos of their littles.

Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston’s unlikely friendship on the cult favorite Breaking Bad might be an unlikely thing in the show (one’s a high school dropout and the other a high school science teacher who link up to cook meth in a van in the desert) but off the screen, the pair are enjoying quite the enduring bromance. It has all the hallmarks of a lasting IRL union: they share a mezcal company, called Dos Hombres (loosely translated as “Two Dudes”), they look for ways to support the community where their spirits are sourced, and now Cranston is godfather to Paul’s second child with wife Lauren Parsekian.

In a January interview with Esquire, the pair talked their partnership in Dos Hombres as well as their friendship. “He became one of my closest friends—my mentor—very early on,” said Paul. “Someone I can confide in. And when [Breaking Bad] was done, it was a very hard goodbye.” As for Cranston, he adds: “I will say, when I met him (Paul) he was in his twenties. And now he’s in his forties and it’s changed. He’s a husband and a father now.”

Which brings us to the role of father and godfather. Paul has publicly talked about his reversal from not wanting children to yearning for them. When he and his wife were expecting their first child, Story, now 4, he wrote “Hey everyone. Look what I did,” as the caption to an Instagram photo of his partner cradling her baby bump in a tight dress. “Words can’t express how excited I am that this little one has entered our lives. Just thought it was time I would share this beautiful news with all of you.” In December, the couple announced that they were expecting a son.

“You’re such a great dad, by the way,” Cranston told Paul during his interview with Esquire, adding with humor “Speaking of babies, he sent me pictures of his little baby boy with a big nose. Just a huge, huge honker. I’m sure, you know,” tapping his nose, “cosmetic surgery down the road. Is there infantile cosmetic surgery?”

Kidding aside, the actors and business partners seem like they have the stuff a lasting friendship is made of—so it’s no surprise that Paul revealed to Jimmy Fallon “I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather. He said no. He’s very busy.” That’s the thing about The Bromance. Someone is always cracking a joke. “No, he was very excited, very honored,” Paul said. “I love the man to death. He’s one of my best friends in the world, and so it was just a no-brainer.”

As for good deeds, other than giving the universe the wonder that is Breaking Bad, Cranston and Paul have made a mission of supporting the tiny village in Mexico from which the Dos Hombres mezcal recipe hails. Even before launch, they succeeded in getting a water filtration system installed for the town of 400 people. Sure, fresh water benefits the production of mezcal, but Paul added “We did not want to be viewed in any way as these two gringos, going down and … taking ill advantage of a group of people. It’s the opposite of where our heads are.”

We’ll be Captain Obvious here but newsflash: Grammy-winner Michael Bublé is a romantic. Shocker, right? But if his newest music video for “I’ll Never Not Love You,” starring none other than his beautiful family—where they reveal wife Luisana Lopilato’s baby bump for the first time—doesn’t slay you, you might need to get your heart checked.

The singer and Lopilato are expecting their fourth baby together, and the big news is revealed as the final scene in a new music video in which they’ve recreated some of the most romantic scenes in cinematic history. We know. Why didn’t we think of that for our last baby news reveal?

Iconic sequences from movies like The Notebook, Love Actually and Titanic are depicted by the couple during the four-minute-long-video, followed by a scene where Bublé is met by his wife — who reveals her baby bump — and his three kids.

Michael Bublé/ YouTube

Go on. We did it too. Awwwwwww. It really is sweet, right?

On On Air with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday morning, Bublé shared “We’re so excited to get to tell people. What’s weird is getting all these messages yesterday and I haven’t answered one cousin,” he said. (Perhaps he should have called a couple of family members before the video dropped, but we get it. Life’s busy.) “So this will be the first time that I actually say these words, but yes, my wife and I are grateful to be expecting.”

Sons Noah, 8, and Elias, 6, plus daughter Vida, 3 are making room for the newest Bublé baby, and—you guessed it—the singer “would love to have as many as she (Lopilato) would let me have.”
