Now your kiddo can hear a story from space! The Story Time from Space program was launched several years ago (by the Global Space Foundation) to bring an out-of-this-world experience to kids right here on Earth.

Even though story time at your local library is enough to keep the littles busy all afternoon, Story Time from Space adds an extra element of science-filled excitement.

So how can your child listen to a book read from space? The Global Space Education Foundation sends child-friendly picks to the International Space Station. Astronauts videotape themselves reading the books and the Story Time from Space website posts the clips.

If you’re wondering whether your child’s fave reads are on the “Books Approved for Launch” list, as of now titles such as Khalifa and Amal Go To Space, Astronaut Annie, Ada Twist, Scientist, Mousetronaut, Max Goes to mars, Luciana, Braving the Deep, The Mission to Cataria, A Moon of My Own, Notable Notebooks, Next Time You See a Sunset, Max Goes to the International Space Station and Rosie Revere, Engineer are among the top story time picks.

Who’s ready for the next gen Kardashian reality drama? Even though Kim, Khloe and Kourt may have captured the world’s pop culture attention, toddlers Chicago West and True Thompson are ready for their close-ups—and they couldn’t be more aww-dorable if they tried!

Kim Kardashian West recently posted an impossibly cute series of Instagram videos featuring Chicago and True. In a just-like-the-rest-of-us moment, the first two clips don’t feature the cousins at an over the top party or some other swanky event. Instead, they’re doing something close to many of our hearts—enjoying a day out at Target.

The could’t-be-cuter duo got giggly and giddy during a shopping cart ride through the big red bullseye retailer’s aisles. Of course, the adorable antics didn’t stop there.

Kardashian West’s third video, and one still pic, show the cousins happily eating a meal together. Not only do the pair gleefully get their lunch on side-by-side, but at one point Chicago shares her meal and sweetly feeds True!

In all fairness, Kardashian West does warn us of what’s to come with her caption, “swipe for major cuteness.” Forget about Keeping Up with the Kardashians, we’re all in for Chicago and True take Target!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend just added another member to their family of four—and no, the supermodel/super-mama isn’t pregnant.

Over the weekend Teigen posted paw-dorable pics and video clips of the family’s brand-new puppy.

Along with a completely cute video of the pup, Teigen captioned her first Instagram post of the family’s new fur baby, “Welcome to the family, petey!” Teigen also thanked Ellen DeGeneres  and the Wagmor Pet Hotel and Spa for alerting her to the rescue puppy.

Even though the sweet clips of little Petey will melt your heart on their on, Teigen also posted an sweet video of toddler son Miles giving the puppy a kiss and another of Luna carrying the family’s new member to dad John Legend.

Apparently, we’re not the only ones who refer to Luna’s dad as John. In Teigen’s video, the three-year-old says, “John would you like to hold her” as she brings the pup to her father. Legend responds, just like any other dad would, “I’m not John, I’m your dad.”

You already know Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” as THE iconic holiday song of the season. Now the 25-year-old tune has a new video—and it features Carey’s kiddos.

Fans of the original video probably remember the home footage-esque grainy clips. The new, updated video starts with Carey as part of a Christmas-y store window scene and has a sleek, stylized feel.

In a Q&A before the YouTube release of the video, Carey said, “We wanted to make a modern classic.” The superstar celeb singer continued, “It’s kind of the opposite of the original video… This is more of a production.”

Along with Carey’s kids, Moroccan and Monroe, the “Make My Wish Come True Edition” video of the now-classic Christmas tune also features mixed-ish actress Mykal-Michelle Harris.

The video release coincides with a major milestone for the singer and the song. Even though it may seem like “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is on constant repeat every holiday season, this year marks the first time the tune has reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

With Christmas around the corner, the Elf on the Shelf is pretty much all over your house. If you’re running low on imaginative Elf ideas, turn on YouTube—and trap the little guy in your TV (or laptop).

Elf on the Shelf trapped in the TV isn’t exactly a brand-new invention. A quick YouTube search will reveal plenty of pages of adorable TV test pattern clips with the words, “I hit the wrong button on the remote…How do i get out of here?” and a pic of the Elf himself.

YouTuber Aaron Holm posted a trapped Elf video back in 2015, writing in the clips’s description, “So, I made this a few years ago just for my family. Since it seems to be gaining views of late, I just thought I’d write a little description. I wasn’t forward thinking when making this. I made it for 10 minutes only so if you need longer either pause it or slow the playback speed to gain extra time.”

With less than a week until Santa arrives, give your kiddo a laugh with this trapped TV test pattern Elf. If you’re looking for a longer version, check out this hour-long clip!

As our little ones grow and gain the freedom that comes with going off to school, pursuing activities, and playing with friends and without us, we still want to know where they are and that they’re safe. The Relay device is a screen-free option for when we want to communicate with our children, but we aren’t ready to hand them a smartphone. Part phone, part walkie-talkie, part GPS tracker, read on to learn more about the benefits of Relay (they’ll all add up to your peace-of-mind).

Special offer for Red Tricycle families: Save 15% on Relay now through November 23, 2019! Click here to learn more.

1. Screen-free functionality means screentime stays in check.
What age is best to give your kids a smartphone? While it’s up to every family to decide what and when to introduce when it comes to tech, this is one question you may be able to delay with Relay. Its push-to-talk button is easy for kids ages 6 and up to use (just like a walkie-talkie), while its simple, durable design minimizes added screentime.

2. GPS tracking means you always know where they are.
While the Relay device isn’t a smartphone, it’s functionality works directly with your smartphone. With the Relay app, you can see your child’s location in real time, anytime. The device easily clips to kiddo’s backpacks, bikes and clothing, while you can also talk to a Relay from your smartphone, making it convenient for everyone.

3. Geofencing means you set the limits.
Relay gives you boundary control. You can set safe zones and receive notifications when your child enters or leaves a zone. With nationwide 4G LTE coverage and WiFi settings, you won’t have to worry about cellular dead zones either.

4. Alerts means your kids can always reach you.
We especially want to be able to reach our kids in case of an emergency—and we want them to have that ability, too. With their Relay, your child can send SOS alerts in an event of an emergency.

5. Extra features mean there’s still plenty of fun.
You can add extra channels, just like apps. With chat channels, kids with other Relays can communicate. With translation channels, they can learn words in another language or two (up to a dozen) while they’re on the go. There are also joke-of-the-day, voice-changing, daily weather and music upload features. Plus, the Relay comes in three fun colors. Roger that!
