When the first teaser for the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie debuted last spring fans had plenty to say about it. After initial criticism over the title character’s appearance, director Jeff Fowler went back to the drawing board to create an updated version—and according to the Internet, the animators have found pure Sonic awesomeness!

Paramount Pictures recently released the revamped trailer for the new feature film. Even though the initial teaser released last April had a somewhat human-like Sonic, this version is much more like what you’d expect from the Sega superstar.

Unlike last spring’s Sonic, this one has larger eyes, white gloves (instead of white hands) and thinner legs.

In a trailer premiere day tweet, Fowler wrote, “Today is the DAY! Could not be more excited to share our new Sonic with you. THANK YOU for your patience and support. This wouldn’t have been possible without the fans.”

Pixar Releases the New Trailer for Jamie Foxx & Tina Fey’s New Animated Feature “Soul”

In an era of near-constant reboots, Disney and Pixar have something new for the big screen—and it has plenty of Soul!

The new animated feature film won’t hit theaters until 2020, but you can catch the trailer right now.

The film, which features the voices of Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, follows a middle school music teacher/would-be jazz musician who follows his dreams. In the new trailer, Soul’s main character, Joe Gardner (voiced by Foxx), says, ” You want to become the person you were born to be. Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life. Spend your precious hours doing what will bring out the real you, the brilliant passionate you that’s willing to contribute something meaningful to this world.”

Gardner follows his dreams—right into a city street manhole. The teacher/musician finally gets his big break, only to have an unfortunate accident that separates his soul from his body. The soul-only version of Foxx’s character meets up with Fey’s own soul (named 22), and the adventure begins!

In the famous words of Dorothy Gale, “We’re not in Kansas anymore.” In the case of the new Stranger Things 4 teaser, we’re not in Hawkins.

It’s only been a few months since the last season of Stranger Things debuted on Netflix, but the streaming platform is already teasing season 4, with a trailer that confirms some fan theories about the future of the series.

The end of Stranger Things 3 found the Byers family, with their newly adopted member, Eleven, packing up and leaving town indicating that the show might head out of Hawkins in the future. Not to mention that mysterious post-credit sequence that took place in a Russian prison. Now that popular theory is confirmed with this first peek at Stranger Things 4.

While there is no word yet on when the next season will air, fans of the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, will be excited to hear the news that the team has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix, which means there’s sure to be plenty more of the Upside Down in our future.

It seems that Disney is churning out live-action remakes at a rapid rate, but the latest new movie looks quite a bit different than the original animation it’s based on. Disney has just released the first trailer for Mulan and it’s missing a few key Disney ingredients.

The new Mulan trailer introduces audiences to the sword-wielding heroine of Disney’s 1998 film with scenes that seem to mirror the original in both costumes and setting. But as some fans have pointed out it’s missing not only the musical aspect but also a main character: Mulan’s sidekick, Mushu is nowhere to be seen.

It had previously been rumored that Mushu would be replaced by a Phoenix character. It’s possible that the bird which makes a brief appearance in the trailer could be the new sidekick in question, but it’s too soon to tell. Despite the loss of fan-favorite Mushu, if the teaser is any indication, the new Mulan will be a beautifully crafted and action-packed tale.
