John Krasinski continues to spread good news through his weekly YouTube show, Some Good News. Two weeks ago he used his video platform to hold a virtual prom. Now he wants to honor all graduates with a virtual graduation ceremony on Sun., May 3.
The invitation posted on the Some Good News Instagram page says, “Whether you’re graduating from preschool, high school, college, middle school, or law school, this graduation is for you #Classof2020.” ⠀
Krasinski also posted a throwback photo on his personal page with the caption, “Alright, that’s it, enough is enough. All you graduates of 2020? After all those long hours you’ve put in. All the hard work you’ve put in…. we’re throwin some caps!!! This week! I’m there with tassels on!”

Disney Hollywood Studios’ newest attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens Mar. 4 and in honor of the new ride, guests will be able to shop a brand new merch line! The wacky collection is all about the cartoon craziness you’ll be able to experience when you hop aboard the new ride.
Perhaps the most whimsical item in the collection is the new Mickey headband, which comes with clear ears that hold images of Mickey and Minnie, along with a train and engineer Goofy. The limited-edition headband also includes the name of the attraction’s theme song, Nothing Can Stop Us Now! embroidered on the side.

Like many other celebs, Nicole Kidman is understandably private when it comes to her kiddos. Even though the actress rarely shares pics of her children, Kidman recently posted a sweet throwback post for daughter Faith Margaret Kidman Urban’s ninth birthday.
Kidman’s Instagram post features a mommy-daughter baby pic of her now-nine-year-old along with Faith’s B-day cake. She captioned the post, “Our baby girl is now 9! We love you so much, precious precious girl. Happy birthday Faith!”
The birthday post got plenty of attention from celebs and non-celebrities alike. Stars such as Mindy Kaling liked Kidman’s post and Hollywood friends Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon commented on the adorable pic.
Faith is Kidman’s youngest child, with hubby Keith Urban. The actress also has two older children, Connor and Isabella, with ex Tom Cruise.
Warner Bros. recently unveiled the trailer for the brand-new animated adventure Scoob!, and it’s a throwback to the Mystery Inc. gangs’ first days.
Not only is Scoob! an origins story of sorts, but it also includes, “Their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world.”
The animated feature film includes a star-studded cast with the voices of Zac Efron (Fred), Gina Rodriquez (Velma), Amanda Seyfried (Daphne), Frank Welker (Scooby-Doo), Will Forte (Shaggy), Jason Isaacs (Dick Dastardly), Tracy Morgan (Captain Caveman), Ken Jeong (Dynomutt) and Mark Wahlberg (Blue Falcon).
While you can watch the trailer right now, you can’t catch Scoob! in theaters until May 15, 2020.
Your 16-bit childhood memories are making a comeback. Sega Genesis is releasing a mini version of the console originally released in 1988!
With Nintendo re-releasing games and accessories from the ’80s and ’90s, it was only a matter of time before competitors like Sega got in on the throwback era, as well. Sega has just released the Sega Genesis Mini along with some classic games from your youth. The console and games feature the same 16-bit graphics and sounds from the original version just 55 percent smaller. The console, which comes with two controllers, can plug directly into a TV for play.
The Sega Genesis Mini comes pre-loaded with 42 classic game titles including favorites like Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, Sonic the Hedgehog, World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and Castlevania: Bloodlines.
The entire system, including the games and controllers, is priced at $79.99 and is already available for purchase at retailers like GameStop, who expects this to be a hot ticket holiday gift. “Our pre-orders [of the Genesis Mini] are doing very well and we expect to move a lot of inventory as we head into the holiday season,” GameStop told CNN in a statement.

If playing games on the Nintendo Switch makes you wistful for the hours you spent on your Super Nintendo in the early ’90s, then you’re about to get a major dose of nostalgia. Nintendo is releasing 20 Super NES games for the Switch.
The same games you loved and played as a kid are now available for a whole new generation of players. Subscribers to Switch online can now access all 20 games with their membership. The games include the immensely popular Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past among others. A subscription costs $3.99 for one month or $19.99 for 12 months, depending on the plan you select.
Nintendo has also announced that it will be rolling out a throwback retro SNES controller for $29.99 that can be used for play on the Switch. No word yet on when it will be available for purchase.
