Doritos Super Bowl Teaser Stars Jimmy Kimmel & Mindy Kaling

Who else watches the Super Bowl for the ads? Doritos has been a Super Bowl fixture for more than two decades, this year the brand is bringing a whole new dimension to gameday with the highly anticipated return of Doritos 3D Crunch. To mark the occasion, Doritos debuted its Super Bowl campaign, #FlatMatthew, with a cliff-hanging teaser that leaves fans guessing who exactly the commercial’s secret star could be.

Fans can get a first glimpse of the commercial in a teaser video Doritos dropped today [see here], which features Jimmy Kimmel introducing his mysterious talk show guest to a shocked Mindy Kaling. “Did you see him backstage? He’s got a whole new look. Like a look that no one’s ever had before,” says Kimmel to Kaling referring to the mystery star.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce this campaign to the world and see fans’ smiles,” said Rachel Ferdinando, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Frito-Lay North America. “With the launch of our biggest innovation in a decade in new Doritos 3D Crunch, we wanted to share in a big way. To be able to showcase this breakthrough product on the Super Bowl with the help of the incredible Jimmy Kimmel and Mindy Kaling is awesome. I can’t wait to reveal our third mystery character in the story.”

Walmart Will Deliver Your Tree and Hang Your Holiday Lights

This year, decorating for the holidays is even easier. Walmart is helping customers bring their favorite traditions home without ever having to head out to the store. This holiday season, Walmart will hang your lights, or deliver a live Christmas tree right to your doorstep.

The service doesn’t end at trees. If you desire holiday greenery, poinsettias or an amaryllis, Walmart has it covered.

To have the perfect Christmas tree delivered, just go on the website, chose your tree and set a delivery time. Customers can also select whether they’d like a fresh-cut tree or a potted option in sizes ranging from 3 feet tall to 9 feet tall. All you need to do is decorate!

Do you feel like Clark Griswold when it comes to hanging the Christmas lights? Walmart, in partnership with Handy, will hang your lights for you. Don’t worry if you don’t have lights. Lights of every variety are available on Walmart.com and can be purchased alongside an installation.

To get lights installed, simply add Christmas Lights Installation Service to your cart. After checkout, Handy will reach out via email to schedule an installation appointment. You just need to supply the lights, clips or anchors, and extension cords. Once that’s done, a professional will complete the installation.

For $129 in single-story homes and $199 in two-story homes, Walmart ensures all of the joy with none of the hassle. As a bonus, having the lights taken down is only $99 for a single-story home and $159 for two-story homes.

Few sounds are as iconic as those associated with Star Wars, in particular the noises from characters like R2-D2 or the sounds of blaster fire. What if we told you there is a bird that can make all those sounds and more? Meet the Lyrebird.

Native to Australia, this fascinating bird is a master of impersonations. And recently, our editor and her family stumbled upon these older YouTube videos that demonstrate just how amazing the Lyrebird really is. Check out the video below to hear some of the decidedly Star Wars sounds.

Your little construction lovers will be amazed at the Lyrebird’s ability to mimic the typical sounds of a construction site (complete with casual whistling, drills and more). Click the video below to hear it.

And of course, there’s the video from renowned naturalist David Attenborough, which features the Lyrebird sounding exactly like a chainsaw.

Other fascinating facts about the Lyrebird (or Superb Lyrebird) include: they are relatively sedentary, shy animals who are ground-dwelling. They have limited flight capacity and magnificent tail feathers. Lyrebirds have been heard mimicking dogs, koalas, dingoes, camera shutters, construction zones, music, phones, ringtones, car alarms and more.

Parrots everywhere purportedly are hanging their heads in shame.

Netflix’s “Floor Is Lava” Is Your Family’s New Favorite Show

If you are looking for a fun show to watch with your kids head over to Netflix. The streaming service just released Floor is Lava, a game show based on the popular children’s game of jumping from across the room, surfing across pieces of furniture without touching any part of their body to the floor. Be prepared, your kids are going to want to recreate the scenarios at home.

According to Netflix, “Teams compete to navigate rooms flooded with lava by leaping from chairs, hanging from curtains and swinging from chandeliers. Yes, really.”

Hosted by Rutledge Wood, the series walks viewers through the various obstacle course routes. The audience is given a clear picture of what needs to be done in order to conquer each level. Contestants need to work together as a cohesive team to finish each challenge.

As contestants advance to higher levels in the game they travel to the different rooms in a house, from scaling the bug infested basement walls to spinning around on a four poster bed.

Just remember, the floor is lava!
