Psychologists Say It May Make You Happier Cynthia and Steve McConnell had just bought their “grown up” dream house in Sausalito when they found out they were expecting twins. Despite the steep hillside, lack of backyard and other kid-friendly amenities, they loved the view and decided to figure out a way to make it work. They installed tall glass railings around the over-sized deck, which doubles as a space for ride-on toys (They don’t keep any furniture on the deck to prevent to urge to climb). Utilizing every available space, they added a sandbox under the deck (genius!) and moved the cars to the street to make room in the garage for an indoor playspace during inclement weather. Stay tuned for a full slideshow on the McConnell’s house. PS – Want to see your home featured on Red Tricycle? Send us an picture.
